I just bought my first glimmer mist and don't wanna touch it until now..I'm scared for getting addicted like my addiction with disstress ink..no more addiction pleasee (stupid me)
Wow, 83 glimmer mists! I'm jealous! I just started buying them, and am hooked. There are so many beautiful colors. Love the idea with the tags, and the ink pads also. :)
Hi Arlene from here in Australia...love the idea of the colour tags but I have an idea to make it easy and quick to then find the matching bottle as you have so many. I thought you could add a number to your tags then match the same number to a sticker dot to the top of each bottle and arrange the bottles in numerical order. What do you think? I had better start collecting glimmermist as I have only purchased a few from the US so far. They are far too expensive here.
This video is GREAT! i ENVY your glimmer mist collection. Being an Army wife ALL the way out in Germany I have such a hard time getting a hold of the colors I might want... So being able to see the colors sprayed is GREAT! Thank you!!!
Wow, I am so glad I found this vid, I dont know how i missed it but just to see the colors sprayed made me decide which colors i really want and those i can do without. I only have 4 bottles right now but what a great storage tip! Thanks :) hugsss, kay
On my last trip to states i got just one color of glimmer mist and i even didnt try it yet . Im trying organize all stuff what i bring with me from there . Lost of problems with that. Thank you for sharing that idea.
Great orgaizing tips. Thanks for going through the GM colours ... I just got my first bottle the other week (Haunted Shadows) and I love it. And you're absolutely right ... it's addicting!
Great idea Arlene & thanks for sharing all the colour samples! If anyone hasn't got a label maker, printable labels for the Ranger inks are also available on the their web site :-)
Thanks for sharing your GREAT idea, Arlene! Thanks also for sharing the different GM colors. I didn't know there were so many colors of GM ;p'. I also Iove how you labelled your TH ink pads. I need to get organized. Thanks again, *hugs* Steph ~ Happy Valentine's Day!
i love the idea thank you so much for sharing it with us ! and all your colours the more you show the more i say wow i need more lol i love those shades thank you again !
Looks like you could have your own store there, LOL. Thanks for sharing these fabulous ideas, I didn't know that storing ink pads upside down was the way to do it.
to expensive to me.........lol..............i have 4 and i think it is very difficult to choose witch one you like and i can imaging how difficult it is when you get in the "got-a-have-circle" of the glimmermist.
But i like the idea very much, thanks for sharing,Arlene, you have soooooo much to share(about Technics and ideas) Thank you
I love your idea, I don't have many GMs but since I got the pefect storage for them I am planning on getting more. I've done this idea with my punches, and some papers.tfs
Great Idea.....I use this same technique to keep track of all my sizzix dies....that way I can just browse throught them to see what I want to use.....I also put a pocket on the back of them to place a sample of the die in it...that way I can just pull it out to see if it will if the die cut will fit on my page. I love seeing ALL of the glimmer mist colors that you have......I am going to now do this with my glimmer mist.....THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!! lOVE IT Amy
WOW!! I am so lusting for your supplies/room. In my wildest dreams I could not fathom all that glimmer mist. What a playful time I could have! You are so Fortunate! I love your projects and videos. I am new to this craft and you inspire me. Thank you
Great Idea!! I love your writing! You have a TON of Glimmer Mist...I've never seen so many in my life! LOL.. I JUST bought my first ever Glimmer Mist yesterday LOL.. and I bought Antique Brass..(Idk why, but I just thought it would include a nice shine to some project).. I was actually Looking for a pink, but there were none at the store I was at.. ~DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY CERTAIN TYPE OF PINK GLIMMER MIST THAT IS BEST?~
A great idea for keeping track of your GM and being able to have a reference to hold up to a project. I also like how you colored the labels.
I also saw on a video someone took a price label sticker from Staples colored with the GM then stuck the colored sticker to the top of the bottle cap so they could store them all in a basket and know what colors are what. Hope that made sense.
Great idea. I don't have any GM yet but 6 are one the way. I did the same thing with the distress ink pads ecept that i used the dymo paper label maker and made a label for each side so no matter which way I put them in I see the color and the name. TFS
great Idea , maybe if you give every color a number and then add the number to the bottle that way is easier to find it in your scraproom and keep em organize by colors i did that with my library at home and works very well , hugs thanks for sharing all your magnificent GM
Just posted a video-response to this video, as I wanted to share a video I posted a while ago on how to make sort of the same thing, which is cardstock color samples =)
Arlene, I always enjoy your videos! They're very concise and yet, very detailed. That's a real talent...as a babbler, I should know.
I use YOUR hauls as my " go to quickly" resource as I'm leaving out to go shopping. What a time-saver! You are very organized and this video was a big help and encouragement. I hope to see more of these detailed organizational tutorials.
That's a great idea! I really love all of your glimmer mists! I am green! LOL I was wondering if you have time, could you go through your browns? I wanted to get a borwn, but not sure which I should get? Thanks!
I am all about organizing tips, or you showing us how you store things. I love my scrapbooking, but I love organizing my scrapbook stuff even more! lol
Use a 3/4 inch circle punch and punch out the circles, which fit perfect on the top of the caps, and run the circles through a xyron machine. Write the names of the colors on the circles and stick them on the top of your caps. I have a lot too and found this such a time saver for looking for my colors! I hope this helps, Mary
i love the swatch tag of glimmer mist!! great idea..and i have my distress ink labelled and colored too but never thought to store upside down..duhh..lol thanks arlene for the great tips..will def try the glimmer mist one when i start my collection..tfs!!

Arlene, on both the GM tags and the addy labels, do you write /type out the color name first then spray/ink it? or what do you do first?
xoxo Jules:)

Hey Jules! :-) I wrote the name of the color with a permanent pen first, then GM'd it.
