  • great ideaa!!love it!

I just bought my first glimmer mist and don't wanna touch it until now..I'm scared for getting addicted like my addiction with disstress ink..no more addiction pleasee (stupid me)

  • Would you do a video of your very favorite glimmer mist colors?! Please!

  • Wow, 83 glimmer mists! I'm jealous! I just started buying them, and am hooked. There are so many beautiful colors. Love the idea with the tags, and the ink pads also. :)

  • Hi Arlene from here in Australia...love the idea of the colour tags but I have an idea to make it easy and quick to then find the matching bottle as you have so many. I thought you could add a number to your tags then match the same number to a sticker dot to the top of each bottle and arrange the bottles in numerical order. What do you think? I had better start collecting glimmermist as I have only purchased a few from the US so far. They are far too expensive here.

    Love your tutorials

    Linda

  • This video is GREAT! i ENVY your glimmer mist collection. Being an Army wife ALL the way out in Germany I have such a hard time getting a hold of the colors I might want... So being able to see the colors sprayed is GREAT! Thank you!!!

  • Wow, I am so glad I found this vid, I dont know how i missed it but just to see the colors sprayed made me decide which colors i really want and those i can do without. I only have 4 bottles right now but what a great storage tip! Thanks :) hugsss, kay

  • Love this idea, Arlene!! What kind of cardstock did you use?

    Katryce

  • Talk about mis-placing things! I have actually put down the card I was working on and LOST it! Now that's a messy workspace :)

  • Arlene, on both the GM tags and the addy labels, do you write /type out the color name first then spray/ink it? or what do you do first?

    xoxo Jules:)

  • Hey Jules! :-) I wrote the name of the color with a permanent pen first, then GM'd it.

  • On my last trip to states i got just one color of glimmer mist and i even didnt try it yet . Im trying organize all stuff what i bring with me from there . Lost of problems with that. Thank you for sharing that idea.

  • Great idea,sooooooooooooo much,pffffffffffffff

to expensive to me.........lol..............i have 4 and i think it is very difficult to choose witch one you like and i can imaging how difficult it is when you get in the "got-a-have-circle" of the glimmermist.

  • Great Idea.....I use this same technique to keep track of all my sizzix dies....that way I can just browse throught them to see what I want to use.....I also put a pocket on the back of them to place a sample of the die in it...that way I can just pull it out to see if it will if the die cut will fit on my page. I love seeing ALL of the glimmer mist colors that you have......I am going to now do this with my glimmer mist.....THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!! lOVE IT Amy

  • Great idea...very useful! :)

    Thanks

  • what a great idea. My stash has gotten alot bigger so this will help :) Thanks!

  • A great idea for keeping track of your GM and being able to have a reference to hold up to a project. I also like how you colored the labels.

I also saw on a video someone took a price label sticker from Staples colored with the GM then stuck the colored sticker to the top of the bottle cap so they could store them all in a basket and know what colors are what. Hope that made sense.

  • LOL....I do the same thing with my GM. I the samples hanging from the box I keep them in. I am catching up to you - hee hee!! Hugs, T

  • this is such a great idea. And you have such lovely penmanship!!

  • Great idea. I don't have any GM yet but 6 are one the way. I did the same thing with the distress ink pads ecept that i used the dymo paper label maker and made a label for each side so no matter which way I put them in I see the color and the name. TFS

  • Thanks so much....loved seeing this. Love how you organize your items...also seeing and hearing about different glimmer mist colors. So sweet of you!

  • great Idea , maybe if you give every color a number and then add the number to the bottle that way is easier to find it in your scraproom and keep em organize by colors i did that with my library at home and works very well , hugs thanks for sharing all your magnificent GM

  • Just posted a video-response to this video, as I wanted to share a video I posted a while ago on how to make sort of the same thing, which is cardstock color samples =)

  • Very smart. Thanks for sharing

  • Arlene, I always enjoy your videos! They're very concise and yet, very detailed. That's a real talent...as a babbler, I should know.

I use YOUR hauls as my " go to quickly" resource as I'm leaving out to go shopping. What a time-saver! You are very organized and this video was a big help and encouragement. I hope to see more of these detailed organizational tutorials.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS ONE!!!

    ;O)

  • Sweet! u could totally sell those.

  • That's a great idea! I really love all of your glimmer mists! I am green! LOL I was wondering if you have time, could you go through your browns? I wanted to get a borwn, but not sure which I should get? Thanks!

  • I am all about organizing tips, or you showing us how you store things. I love my scrapbooking, but I love organizing my scrapbook stuff even more! lol

  • I love your videos, you're truly an inspiration. I just finished cleaning my scrap room. Thanks for the tips!

  • Use a 3/4 inch circle punch and punch out the circles, which fit perfect on the top of the caps, and run the circles through a xyron machine. Write the names of the colors on the circles and stick them on the top of your caps. I have a lot too and found this such a time saver for looking for my colors! I hope this helps, Mary
