  • Its mad to think that a couple of years before they done this song they were making songs like "Love Me Do". It just goes to show, whatever the lyrics, The Beatles are truely amazing in any situation.

  • This song always cheers me up.

  • @TheMasterSlasher Me too, LOL !! Do you think we're strange ?

  • Doobie at 0:55

  • love very much

  • Exellent .....

    The Beatles

    Best Band In History .

  • Damn, this song makes me horny. Hah.

  • i call this blues grunge!

  • I was not aware of this Led Zeppelin song, nice find.

  • My favorite beatles song.

  • Nothing can top them!! NO ONE

  • I was about 13 oor 14 when this came out....memories, ya gotta love em!

The one thing we ( my friends) thought was they were trying to get better all the time, of course, but they were trying to get better for each other! That is something you notice...comrads really and it showed! :)

I met John Lennon about 6 months before he died….very nice guy….and normal!

  • George Harrison = awesomeness!!!!!

  • I'm sorry but this song fucking sucks compared to The Dirty Mac version, Eric Clapton and Mitch Mitchell gave this song some serious needed "umph."

  • heres an idea, go fuck yourself..faggot

  • @xaidan005x before you insult me, you should hear it for yourself. Dont get me wrong, i love the beatles but check out The Dirty Mac version and then come talk to me, i swear you'll love it.

The Dirty Mac is a supergroup containing: John Lennon (vocals/guitar), Eric Clapton (guitar), Keith Richards (Bass), and Mitch Mitchell from The Jimi Hendrix Exp. (Drums)

  • @mahavishnuxc thanks for your thought

  • People have these feelings ok,

  • Songs like these make me wanna get dumped and shit. Songs like these make feeling blue okay and cool. :)

  • This is not the beatles its The Dirty Mac they have played it on the rock and roll circus

    band: Lennon,Clapton,Keith Richards,Mitch Mitchell

  • @SnaKeEXx this is on the white album?

  • @SnaKeEXx I don't think so. This is the cut from the White album.

  • hey stupid, this is the beatles..fucking morons

  • @neddanison As we did only on the other side of the world.

  • 'Suicidal just like Dylan's Mr Jones!' best beatles line ever!

  • First emo song? Lol joking

  • I dig it!

  • 2:53 That guitar sounds like Yoko Ono singing :)

  • @BloodShotNow

you don't even know what you're talking about. Go ahead and credit the creation of rock'n'roll to The Beatles, too, why don't ya?

Pink Floyd started progressive rock. Just saying. Whatever the hell Beatles did, it wasn't progressive.

  • Buen solo de guitarra.

  • Listen to Georges guitar solo!!!! IT SAYS WHY DONT U KILL YOURSELF RIGHT NOW!!! THIS SONG IS THE SHIT!!!

  • I always thought the line was "wanna hang my rock n roll" which I think would have been better.

  • Punk has always struck me as an attitude more than anything...the main point being, if you don't like what you hear, do your own thing...and don't wait to be a virtuoso...and don't let anyone tell you what to do. As an adolescent musician in the mid '70's it was advice well needed, not always heeded...and it still is. Appearing naked on an album cover might be as 'punk rock' as it gets...and if you think I'm wrong, go make an album cover!!!!!!

  • Right on Ringo... underrated.

  • Christ its like proto-zeppelin. first time ive heard this. Beatles never cease to amaze me.

  • A girl who don't know English said,"This is bullfight song."

  • The Beatles started the WORLD...

  • this is the most emo song ever XD

  • I know this is a song about suicide, but i oddly i find extremely sexy

  • i sucked on this instead of me mums tit...........those were the days

  • This is most definitely The Beatles. It's the white album track.

  • yeah im gonna disslike my own comment (bellow) now

  • this isnt the beatles, it eric clapton on solo guitar keith richards bass mitch mitchel(hendrix drumer) drums with lennon fronting, called 'the dirty mack' i think, played for 'the rolling stones rock and roll circus'

  • @thesycoticturnbuckle You'r a fucking idiot.

  • @thesycoticturnbuckle

do your research before you end up spouting bullshit like that.

  • @thesycoticturnbuckle This is the Beatles recording from the White Album. There is a version that John recorded at the Rock'n'roll Circus with the people you mention and some of the clips in this video is from that occassion, but the music is the White Album track. I can understand why you thought it was "Dirty Mac" though.

  • Lennon is King

  • Never really cared for the Beatles or Lenin, but I just llove this song, especially the ending.

  • @loufalce

i never cared for lenin either. but LENNON i care greatly for.

  • thank god they did not decide to pursue the blues (turn the beatles into a blues band), because if they did bb king would have retired long ago!

  • @neddanison The only way to listen to it...

  • No offense but get it right this is not grunge. Neil Young invented grunge, but this is just good old fashioned BLUES. Basic 12 bar progression. Simply awesome music but please don't call it grunge.

  • john lennon invented grunge

  • @B00BScream Paul invented Metal aka "Helter SKELTER", & SONGS LIKE Strawberry Fields Forever brought Psychedelic Rock into the main stream. AKA inventing Pink floyd. the list goes on and on. Get your FRIENDS to listen to the beatles SO WE CAN STOP THE CRAPPY MUSIC OF THIS GENERATION

  • @GHOSTakaOzz No. Bands like Led Zeppelin and Blue Cheer pioneered metal.

  • @B00BScream id say neil young was more on the lines of inventing grunge

  • @B00BScream True but at 0:05 George Harrison (without that cheesy moustsche) personifies a rock god. During this era of the Beatles he shat on Jim Morrison for pure sex appeal....

  • I love how after the solo he's still singing but sounds far away. it's as if in a fit of deep depression he fell to the floor and continued screaming his innermost feelings.

  • @ghost20063 This was probably a guitar overdub and John was just singing in the background with no mic. The vocals bled to another mic and that's why it sounds the way it does. Just one of many little happy accidents and quirks that make the Beatles' studio experiments so special. :)

  • My father was of the sky my, mother was of the earth, I am of the universe, and you know what it's worth.

It's like, in the 60s we were all supposed to be all cosmic and stuff, but still wound up feeling like shit sometimes.

  • have you ever heard a song more deep than this one? He is saying he wants to die and shit... he has some balls to let it all out and its a damn good song too!

  • This song, "Help!" and "I´m a loser" are my theme songs. I could think that my life is so sad, but, instead of that, I think: Hey, I´m like John Lennon!!

  • funny thing, this is a suicidal song until he adds the word "girl"and changes the meaning of the whole song !!! *greatness*

  • Very Good John !!

  • I guess 14 are singing "dont worry, be happy"

  • This has to be the most emo thing I've ever heard.

  • Perfect song! A saw a musical and one man sang it. the beatles are the best band forever!! :)

  • Umm, my theme song?

  • Yer Blues John, Yer Blues.

  • Jai guru deva om...

  • First time I heard John Lennon sing a song about being depressed instead of picking on the "lonely" people.

  • it doesnt matter where i hear this song, i have to sing along!

  • 14 people are out !

  • AND THEY SAY THE BEATLES WHERE THE NICE BAND AND THE STONES WHERE THE DIRTY ROCKERS. STONES STOLE EVERYTHING FROM THE BEATLES. That's right Beatles invented GRUNGE, METAL, PROGRESSIVE, THE BEGINNINGS OF PSYCHEDELIC, THE BEGINNINGS OF PUNK "POLYTHENE PAM" google it

  • @BloodShotNow the beatles invented rock music...end of history

  • @LIBERTINEPARANOIC you're wrong

  • @LIBERTINEPARANOIC lol, they were good but they really didn´t invent rock music :D

  • @BloodShotNow try i'm waiting for the man- velvet underground. 1967. the true start of punk. there's no disputing the beatles are the kings of music though.

  • Comment removed

  • @spaceorbison its tomorrow never knows

  • @ilovemysneakatoke that's it, thanks

  • @BloodShotNow Sorry, the Who were the true punk precursors.

  • @serotone9 fuck the who

  • @thefaketahare Who? JK

  • @BloodShotNow Do you know anything?

The Beatles had Their own thing but they didnt invent all of those genres or have anything stolen by the stones.

  • @BloodShotNow stop talking shit, both bands Beatles & Stones were the shit, the best bands of all time, enjoy both of them and be quiet.

  • @BloodShotNow The Beatles are the birth of all those genres, and dare I say, the death of them all. The Beatles did it all, and they did it so well, that not many people could compete with it.

  • Amen.

  • @BloodShotNow though that is an absolute GORGEOUS thought to think, its not true.

the Beatles were inspiration, but they didn't do any metal, grunge, punk, etc. therefore didn't invent it.

you're one of those people who believes everything on Wikipedia aren't you?

  • @BloodShotNow wait.... are you saying they invented the blues somehow too? There is nothing new here....

  • @BloodShotNow caps off?

  • @BloodShotNow I'd say that most influential for creation of heavy metal was Arthur Brown. The begginings of psychedelic rock wasn't job of Liverpool guys. Yep, they did a lot, but don't say that they invented it. Google it, hah, Yeah, you can Google everything, even that Earth is flat. Everyone could search references, but good sources - well, certainly you have lack of this skill. You are upvoted because you are populist. Face it.

  • Great song! The best rendition of it I ever heard was by Buddy Guy. It was on some tribute to the Beatles program on PBS and I've never been able to find a recording of it anywhere - even from PBS. Would love to see it posted here some day.

  • Dylan's "Mr. Jones" DID NOT NECESSARILY FEEL SUICIDAL. He just "knew something was happening and didn't know what it was"!

  • bobong bata

  • 1 of my fav. beatles songs ..just amazing

  • Hey guys, please visit this short video. It´s a little jam of my new band, AEROTREM. I´m a huge Beatles fan, so I hope you enjoy our sound (it´s just the beggining): /watch?v=9rQjkVwxDog

    w w w . a e r o t r e m . c o m

    Thanks. Beatles forever

  • @PhaQandyou Don't put down something you don't understand...

  • @Obeijin "Don't put down something you don't understand". You sound like a little baby. You gunna cry lil' babe? Huh?

  • @PhaQandyou

Mate, if you're gonna have a go at any Beatles song, have a go at Rocky Raccoon. This is fucking heavy.

  • @danutcase66 I love both these songs! Who the hell was on my account saying such foolishness? Beatles FTW!!!

  • George looks very similar to keith richards in this... well, in general, but especially here.,

  • i still say that bass line makes this song!

  • john sings i want to die

  • still one of my favorite Beatle numbers

  • This soft rocker is not too different from Judas Priest's 'Star breaker' or Black Sabbath's 'National acrobat' all three of the progg rock genre.

  • hearing this song makes me even more in love with the beatles...

  • fun fact! he called it yer blues so that if people didn't like it, he could play it off as a parody type thing

  • 0:53 Passing a joint ahahah

  • LOVE YOU JOHN<3<3

  • Found it. Look for "Yer Blues 1968 [multi angle] John Lennon The Beatles"

  • This song was played once by John Lennon, Eric Clapton on guitar, Kieth Richards on bass, and Mitch Mitchell on drums at the The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. December 11, 1968. Man I'm off to search for that version right now!!

  • eary roots of beloved death metal!

  • I'm lonely wanna die...

  • i posted a video response. it's Oh Darlin. great Beatles song!

  • this makes me proud of being suicidal!

  • @TheLovethatkills, what for? That's actually pretty pathetic.

  • @TheLovethatkills Lol same :P

  • @TheLovethatkills LOVE your comment!

  • @TheLovethatkills that made my day

  • @TheLovethatkills and if you aint dead already we all will know the reason why .

  • lol i said suck, ops

  • This is suck a powerful underrated song. POWERFUL MASTERFUL LYRICS!

  • Lots of feeling in this Beatles cut.....

  • listen to that bass. paulm is underrated

  • What a sicovery for me! And the quality of the sound!!!

  • Waaaayyy better than the dirty mac crap. Paul Mccartney plays circles around Keith with the bass, just sounds stronger and flows better. I prefer Ringo's drumming, it's what gives this song its character. George can outright play the blues and does not take a back seat to Eric who is a little overrated. Of course John adds the finishing touch. This one reeks of stronger rock, the other one is blah! Don't get me wrong I like it, but it does not compare to this one. Go Beatles!!!!

  • It's a John song anyway, and they always sang their own songs

  • It's a John song anyway, and they always sang their own songs

  • paul had a better voice for blues i agree he should have sung it!

  • John Lennon is my hero!

  • like the bass

  • I Kinda think it would be better if paul sang this

  • @AnnaTheGreat1 paul doesn't have a blues voice...i think that john's half-screaming vocals are perfect...but everyone's got an opinion

  • My mother was of the sky

My father was of the earth

But I am of the universe

And you know what it's worth

  • If I ain't dead already"....

  • 11 people are dead already.

  • Wow. He's giving Kurt Cobain a run for his money in the angst department.

  • @aquagrl63

Its actually the other way around... Kurt was nowhere when this was released.

  • @DruidDude65 I'm well aware of that. I mean just in retrospect, it sounds like a really depressing grunge song.

  • @aquagrl63 John Lennon earned the market for angst first. He was alive welllll before Kurt. Get your facts straight.

  • @perminzerbergen I know that. But Kurt Cobain is sort of the template for suicidal angst.

  • @perminzerbergen Although he was the original suicide artist people always saw him as just one of the happy go lucky bleatles.

  • thanks!!!

  • To clear this up the Dirty Mac was an act for the Rock N roll circus. It consisted of Keith Richards (stones) Mitch Mitchells (jimi hendrix expierince) Lennon vocals and Clapton on guitar

  • One of the best songs ever.

  • @LobaKluh lol, sorry, now I know what Dirty Mac is, I had forgotten, at first I thought it was a programm's guy or something like that, lol. But, seriously, this is The Beatles, John Lennon wrote Yer Blues when he was in India and it's part of the White Album.

  • @LobaKluh what are you saing? this is The Beatles, John's singing, how can't you notice it? and who is Dirty Mac? I don't know him, sorry but i'm not from USA

  • beatles are just too cool for school

  • is there any video without dislikes?

  • I like both versions myself....

  • @LobaKluh are you sure? It really sounds like the White Album version. Dirty Mac version has more of a live-version feel to it, right?

  • this should be the video for this song, great job

  • The Beatles were prophets. To learn how to perceive the hidden meanings in their songs, go to TruthContest (dot) com and open The Present, and read up to the section about The Beatles. Show this to every Beatles fan you know.

  • @LobaKluh Actually this is The Beatles... the Dirty Mac just performed it once... A completely different recording, I'll add. You can hear Paul in the background on this one.

  • @DudermanGG That's right. You can hear the differences easily.

  • Temazo. Para que decir más. Con temas como este se hicieron adultos.

  • pick my eye windstorm, i'll vortex there real soon

  • i like, many artists stoled this beat

  • Every moment that we have these boys on video is precious stuff!!!

  • lennon was a real rocker!

  • I thought this song was from The Dirty Mac

  • i very like imagination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    name:Yer Blues - The Beatles

    description:Yer Blues - The Beatles

    etikets:Yer BluesThe Beatles

  • Great mix of photos and video - love the behind the scenes studio stuff.

  • John Lennon was an absolute genius, this song confirms that every single time I play it...

  • I like George's eyes in this one. It's way after the Indian time. But John sure is still drivin it. With Paul harmonizing. Where are we going now?

  • dont watch that cover ...........

  • though this song is extremely depressing it actually cheers me up...go figure

  • @abbeyroad188 ya i agree this a good song but there are so many better ones like a day in the life, long long long,im only sleeping, you never give me your money if this is the only beatles song that this person likes they must live under a rock

  • 0:50 someone trying to pass Paul a doobie lol!

  • amo las guitarras!

  • @loufalce

Wow that's really sad,and I kinda wanna punch you, because there are way better beatles songs then this buddy boy. Does anybody agree with me?
