I think that knee make Buakaw can't breathe. After the knee at 1.59 you can see Buakaw were slowing down and then he fall. In the "Fight Science" show when the muay thai fighter attacked at chest by knee they can be knockout cause of they can't breathe and may be heart failure.

Sato is taller, so it's easier to land punches on somebody's face. Buakaw is awesome and has all my respect, but he has to take up some more Western boxing training. He still punches well, but he doesn't box (know what I mean?). Plus, most Thai always drop their hands because in Thailand they just clinch and knee eachother for half an hour and they are tough basterds, but they need to start boxing more instead of hanging on the others guy's neck like a monkey....

If you actually used your brain instead of judging solely on appearances than you'd already know that there was no reason for Buakaw to take a dive here. None at all.

K-1/Tanikawa never thought highly of Sato; from a business or political standpoint they didn't have much to gain by him winning that match. In fact, Buakaw was far more popular and marketable than Sato ever was; being a 2-time MAX champion. And if money meant more to Buakaw than fighting he would've retired by now.

Buakaw usually has good timming but in this fight his timming is terrible- also proof as we know sato is a bleeder and bruises easily, end of this fight sato looks fine- no sting in buakaws hits- timming was out- also his guard was worse then normal - Sato being agressive didnt help him either... good fight.

In this fight, it was the knee that produced the KO not the punch, all the punch did was put him on the canvas for good but he was already out on his feet.
