I've currently got 6 videos dedicated to my model railway, and one of them features a shelf layout (I say a shelf, it's actually the top of a room divider). But I wasn't pleased with it, the lighting was poor, and I should have used a tripod). Alas, it was my first attempt and I have every intention to make it up again, I've got enough track for it.
Nice. Only thing i'm worried about is that you've no baseboard framing, this could end up leading to the boards bending, & causing running problems later on. Nice though to see a shelf layout.Cheers.
ah ok, hmm that would be a problem. I was gonna get a shelve and lay the boards on top, i already had these boards so they seemed about right for that kind of layout. I do have a plan to extend it though, and was close to buying an actual Tangmere off ebay last night!
hope to see a bit more added around the rest of the wall :) these layouts can grow with time as i have discoverd :) lol great job m8 and i like the spoon in green ,,classic traction thats what its about ..cheers sam m8 :) sean
deffo! could you do a video on it maybe? show what it's like, condition etc, talk about it and what might be wrong. I might just take that on as a project! :)
What a brilliant idea, model trains, on a shelf, love it! I've tried this, but obviously not as good as this.
