  • I just love how marines think there even close to special force... The have exact same training as army infantry, but the marines have 3 extra weeks at the shooting range, and they think there badass'. Put them in on a seal mission and put seals on marine mission the marines will fail and seals will be taking naps cause there job was done a while ago.

List from best to (not the worst but not best) Delta force SEAL&SWCC/ Green Beret

  • also some info about seals, they are in my opinion the best in the world, they have the toughest training in it for sure. Marines are in no way as capable as seals or can do their missions but they are linked. They are under the same branch. The Navy. You do need a highschool degree to go into BUD/s (basically seal training), they marines use conventional warfare, and the seals, like a lot of other special forces, use unconventional warfare which kicks ass and is nasty

  • this is so bad ass

  • SEALs > Ninjas

  • marines and seals arent the same they train together in certain things but marines are general and seals are special ops if you want to compare, use FORECON vs SEALs

  • Basic information on SEALS as of right now for people who don't want to do research.

20 years ago, you had to spend four years in the actual Navy before being considered for SEAL training. Now, you can just go in if you get a contract straight out of high school.

Navy Seals are not in any way linked to the Marine Corps. In fact, they don't get along a lot of the time.

You can only be a SEAL if you are in the Navy OR the Coast Guard. If you're in another branch, you need to transfer out.

  • the TOUGHEST motherfuckers alive. this is what we live for

  • marines got nothing on navy seals, the few navy seals that america has shoot more live rounds than the entire marine corps. this isnt a debate, they are called special forces for a reason. And use common sense? Its called Navy Seals instead of Marine Seals for a reason

  • This commercial does a LOT with less. It sends such a strong message, even though there was NO dialogue, and NO action. It is so effective because it is so minimalist.

  • Navy SEALs = Ninjas with guns.

  • One of my favorite Navy commercials.

  • As if they were never there...ghost warriors

Anyway respect to all Special Forces and Members of the military (doesn't matter if its marines or navy seals)

Hope I can serve my country too when the time comes

  • usmc

  • which one is more elite?

  • I don't think clouds block the moonlight like that.

  • i just now understood this commerical

  • That wouldn't be funny at all

  • haha this is awesome!! This is what my dream and goal is. . . to become a Navy SEAL.

  • NIce me to, what are you doing to help yourself become one, cause I want to know everything that I can?

  • I'm training in Hand-to-Hand, and I'm working out a LOT...every day I do a regular workout of pushups, crunches/situps, pullups, running... and every Tuesday and Thursday I train in an exercise program called Crossfit. Crossfit is something I would recommend for anybody wanting to become, or already is, a SEAL. Feel free to ask more questions. I'd be glad to try and answer them

  • @iluvaworkout Crossfat is gay

hit up Buds131 he is a former SEAL

and has a show he does on ustream, sometimes there are former SEALs he calls so people can ask them questions about training and requirments

  • Nothing like a SEAL to outsmart nature! HOOYAH!

  • Navy Seals are the best special forces anywhere.

  • Don't mess with the SEALs!!

  • Bloodsurfer2 says "If you prefere firepower in a special forces unit, Force Recon is the way to go. If you prefere stealth, Recon (sometimes called Deep Recon) is what your looking for." My respose to that is the seals do have firepower and if you meant more firepower, if your good with a gun all you need is a pistol. It's not how much firepower you have it's how you use it.

    Hooraahh!

  • Can anyone point me to a US Navy Seal forum where I can ask some questions in a grown-up setting? I am not, nor was I ever, in the military and have great respect for those who are (or were). I want to know how to "out" a guy who is impersonating a US Navy Seal Lt Cmdr., on youtube.

  • That was intense.

  • How many Navy SEALs does it take to change a light bulb?

-None. They just stand there and let the world revolve around them.

    Hooyah.

  • congratulations, you just saved your class... hahaha awesome videos

  • Wow, this Commercial is so Powerful, no words, no slogans just the thought that, sometime, somewhere, someone is having their ass handed to them.

  • Well said.

  • well said lol very nice

  • Hooyah...

  • I love the Marines, but this ad is awesome.

  • hahahahaha awesome

  • That was bad ass.

  • this is the best military spot ever made

the precise application of force so well explained as a metaphor by the sudden appearance and disappearance of the footprints

  • Now that's pretty classy...

  • oooooOO funky :)

  • cool and funny! 5 points!

  • the only eay day was yerterday

  • Marines can not become seals... NAVY only...

  • Damn straight. HOO-YAH!

  • thats right we have Force Recon

  • That may have changed recently, but once upon a time interservice transfers could request to attend BUDS training, and many did get in...

  • marines are a faction of the navy

  • I think you could transfer into the navy then become a seal

  • why is this scary?

  • I love this commercial and so does my Navy husband. It really is a great one....but the best is..."Just think...Somewhere outthere some guy is buying a minivan!" (just another Navy SEAL Commercial speaking the truth...SEALs RULE!!!

  • I have a few SEAL friends and they all love this commercial. It is a great recruiting tool. HTey are very stealthy people.

  • Cna you join the SEALS from civilians? I thought you had to serve 4 years in the Navy.

  • No I think you have to be recommended, I know Marines can become SEALS, I cant remember if Army Rangers can or cannot. >_<

  • you do not need to be recommended. You can join at boot camp or after you are already in the navy/marines you can request to go and as long as you pass the entry screening tests then you can join a BUD/s class and try and become a SEAL.

  • Nope, you don't have to be recommended and you must be in the Navy to join the SEALs. If you're a Marine, however, you could join Force Recon (their special warfare branch).

  • You mean there is a more deadlier group of Marines out there?!?! The USA is KICKASS!!

  • If you prefere firepower in a special forces unit, Force Recon is the way to go. If you prefere stealth, Recon (sometimes called Deep Recon) is what your looking for.

  • Navy SEALs are not Marines.

  • @m0tbaillie actually, marines can become SEAL's....

  • @fastmatt30 actually thats true...but they need to submit paperwork to transfer to the navy...they also need to go through prior service boot camp

  • @fastmatt30 No shit, but Navy SEALs still are not Marines. Thanks for playing, I'm active duty Navy.

  • Now they are allowing more men to try out earlier in their carreers then maybe 6 yrs ago.

  • nice commercial, and yer mum will never know if yer out late again

  • lmao, that's so true

  • so why did the moon light dim suddenly...?

  • a nvy seal pass the cam block the view for 2 sec.. thats why!

  • because a cloud went in front of the moon dummy.

  • this is STILL the coolest recruiting commercial i've EVER seen!

  • course its possible, elite mean anything?

  • it's possible...

  • this commercial makes me laugh maniacally everytime :D

  • um... how so?

  • Man! they never show anyone walking though there. Just computer special fx.

  • see the cam become black! after that thers a footprint! thats not sfx..
