the words saying you will amount to nothing hit home with me, my son was told this when he was still in school he was told he would amount to nothing by a teacher, he had certificates and trophies for tae kwondo, gcse's he joined the army and when he came out his leaving report said his army record was exemplary and he had leadership qualities everything he did he was praised for but he committed suicide last year feeling worthless because of the words of one school teacher

If you called it "Thank You Creator" rather than "Thank You Universe", it would been an appropriate title to not offend any one group. Instead of thanking the creation thank the source; whether you call that creator God, Allah, Jehovah, Great White Spirit, Elohim, Father, Mother, etc. it does not matter. Universe is a creation, not the creator of us all.
