I've got one of those boxes although I usually play a stylophone through it. Guitar is a bit cheesey unless you use a LOT of FX. I digress...

The sound you are hearing is coming out of that blokes mouth. The tube is sending the sound into his head & he uses the complex movements of his tongue & cheeks to make the noises you are hearing. Often guitarists will have a seperate mic out into a PA system.

Talkbox is a lot of fun, but you usually do it on your own. A bit like masturbation really.
