  • Be quiet? More like shut the f**k up!

  • I'd hit it

  • What if the dog is several houses away? I can hear it everywhere in my house. Also, the neighbor is aggressive. If I walked into his yard he would see me and he's probably crazy.

  • yeah what was option 2

  • I LOVE waggin train, I get them for my dog all the time <3 Along with milo's kitchen

  • NO, this is just stupid. You can easily take legal action or semi legal action if you want to be cool about it. And second if you wern't fat you would be hot.

  • @crazyrahul97 You're the one trolling the web and leaving pointless feedback and rude comments and I'm the one who's stupid? Yeah, okay buddy. If you weren't a douche, you'd still be an idiot. :)

  • @crazyrahul97 You're out of line. Why the need to call something stupid? Just because you don't agree with it? Your comment really is pointless. And she's not fat at all.

  • @crazyrahul97 How rude and pathetic to say something to someone. It's obvious you are an unhappy and shallow excuse for a human being. Go back and crawl back under the rock you came from asshole.

  • Rewarding a dog for barking? I think not! A garden hose with a jet nozzle works wonderfully! It works on the owner too! I suppose you're going to block me too! Knock yourself out!

  • @n7zsd Nope. I ain't gonna block you. I think it's funny when people use their freedom of speech to openly broadcast their utter and complete stupidity. :)

  • @amazingmutts So....you think that rewarding a dog for barking excessively is more effective than hosing it down? I've worked with animals including dogs my entire life (alot older than you), and I know dogs. I am also an animal control officer. Don't get me wrong, I love animals. I just feel that your method is silly and not effective at all. I've seen it tried many times. It doesn't work. Go ahead call me stupid again. My dogs don't bark unless necessary. Neither do my neighbors.

  • @n7zsd I've used this method and it has been effective. I've trained several dogs to be quite by using it. Just because you say you've worked with animals your entire life doesn't mean that I should believe you, nor does it mean your any good at it. What I find silly is people like you who troll the internet to leave negative comments on videos that might be helpful to others. Just because you don't like the method doesn't mean it doesn't work. Ciao!

  • I have two that go nuts barking when people come to visit..I fence them off from them thinking if they bark they could bite too. Never have, but what can I do? They just ignore me when I have company

  • Thanks for this video. It sounds like a good idea. I'll give it a try rather than calling the cops.

  • @fedism yes and just so you know if the police are contacted they will send animal control and they will have to check the dog or check on him and if he barks in the day it is legal they may keep the dog but if the dog is left barking during the night he will go to the pound not the shelter every town has one of each so he will remain there until claimed and if not put to sleep so please be careful if makeing that choice dogs are very loved barked and left out or not they are loved

  • @AmericanPitbulls1 OMG longest run-on sentence ever. They are called periods and commas.

  • @MakTheBlade Shut up did not ask for your input leave me and my freedom of speech alone oh look at your comment your to lazy to type 3 words what a baby

  • Lol that was sweet just for the sake of it

  • Yea thats so smart. Give the dog a treat when he barks... that'll encourage him not to bark.... counterintuitive as it gets

  • @mattreeves437 It may seem that way, but if you use this technique correctly, you're dog will learn 'quiet' or won't bark as much. Giving the dog a treat when he barks is actually desensitizing the dog to whatever he or she was barking at in the first place. I've used this technique several times and with great success. :)

  • @satv365 And for that remark, you've been blocked. Jerk.

  • Do you have a pet supply in your area. If you do, chances are there is money and political influence telling the police not enforce any noise laws IF IT IS ABOUT DOGS BARKING. Anything else, and the police will act. The police will shoot you for making noise if they feel like it. But, they won't go against a big pet food corporation.

If you search the web for answers, you'll get pet supply ads about how YOU can BUY a device that MIGHT stop the dog from barking. Is this cynical, or what?

  • Hi Nicole, Nice job! I also find that by saying the dogs name if you know the dogs name will make them stop barking long enough to say good boy/girl and then I toss the treat. :) I have a neighbor that their dog barks every time I walk past with my dogs and I say, "Hi Joey" and he looks at me as if he should know me, which he does not really know me and then he is quiet as we pass. Just a thought. It is my own theory on the name thing. :) I am going to try to test my theory this summer :)

  • @pamelamarxsen Hey Pam - good thoughts! I don't know the dog's name but when I see him, I say in a very happy voice "Hey there good doggy!" Or 'Hey buddy!" He gets excited when I come around. :)

Men and dogs are similar in the fact that food is the way to their heart! LOL

  • @amazingmutts I totally agree with the food comment! I also agree that if one does not know the dogs name, just talking to the dog helps! I use "what a good pupper or what a good pup" a lot. :) Excitement and being happy to see you is much better than barking! I wish my neighbors would do that when my dogs bark at their kids, when their kids yell and scream. BTW, Why is it ok for kids to scream, cry, and be obnoxious, but dogs have to be quiet? I hate that! :)

  • @pamelamarxsen I don't think it's okay for kids to scream, cry and be obnoxious. Especially in restaurants or stores. Drives me NUTS!!!! But....I know what you mean. I'll take a dog barking over a kid screaming any day!

  • @amazingmutts I would rather hear a dog bark over a kid screaming too! :)
