the bird was probably poisoned in some way. i found a wild field mouse in the same state. it ate some decon mouse poison and then it was just standing in the middle of the parking lot at my job. i went up to it and it didnt move. so i picked it up. it didn't care, and i moved it out of the way of traffic. and it still didn't move a muscle. but it was still alive the whole time
