I got the moray sometime in 1987 on clearance in a store that was closing for 19.99 the top portion was warped and NEVER totaly fit on to the hull, it you infact push the moray at all in the water it will take on water and sink tail end first, when loaded with figures it was pretty cool looking. my brother and I would pretend that torpedo sabotaged it.
I had a friend that had this when we were kids. He put it in his swiming pool. It stayed afloat for about an hour before it sank to the bottom. I had the Devil Fish and it stayed afloat for almost 2 hours before it sank.
Omg, you're awesome, Kevin! Thank you so much for experimenting your hydrofoil...i never expected it to float at all due to the weight but it proved me wrong! I really wanted to get it (of course it's pricey as hell)! Awesome experiement video! :D
I love your videos, very detailed and you know your Joe. This is when toys were good, not like the junk I buy for kids today... Great job man, always look forward to your videos.
@brollicon Sadly, going to Florida in March/April is impossible for me. I've always wanted to go to a US GIJoecon (I have relatives in Florida that I could stay with!). I hear the Con set will be a Mission Brazil team done in 25th anniversary body-style. Maybe someone will attend and review it? I will be going to the Canadian Joe Con in June, though.
really didn't look as though the decals were touching the water.. Hasbro did a great job!

This is probably my favorite vehicle from the 80s vehicle lineup. Hasbro makers really enjoyed what they were doing, and it showed.
