@lickstickly Nope, I mean Saxon. It appears his predecessors were of Saxon (i.e. German) stock. Native Welsh were dark-haired. But I'm talking centuries ago. It's an interesting period (Dark Ages) and one worth studying, if you're into history.
@lickstickly No, but my brother-in-law's a Cockney from Bethnal Green and I've been there as a guest of his family. London's a great city, I really enjoyed it. And the EPL is my favorite football league. But no, I'm no Englishman. I'm a Mexican-American who's lived all his life in Southern California.

Colin was a very underated fighter and is still a favourite of mine. He was capable of absorbing punishment but would cleverly avoid it if possible. A real expert in the 'noble art of self defence.' What this video shows, beautifully, is the rare ability to knock his man out with one punch, either hand. Alan Reid was a good boxer but had never faced anyone with Colin's rare talents.
Colin was very unlucky not to have been a great world champion, if he was boxing today I think he would be one.

Jones looks like a Saxon to me, not a Welshman. He sure was a ferocious fighter, no doubt about that.

That KO punch was one of only 3 shots (all to the head) that Jones threw. Very intelligent boxer..
