That old man is from a time long-ago when they still mutilated children in England. Like you, he wants to feel normal, and has a sick way of doing it by promoting more mutilation.
Actually circumcision was never very popular in England. Today only around 3% of British men are circumcised and that's usually for religious reasons.
Uncut is more aesthetically pleasing and makes sex for women much more pleasurable, IMHO.
If it was "popular" or not, I cannot say. But it was much more common up until around 1970. I know a few British men born in the 1960's that were circumcised, and they act much like this older man. It's normal for a man to defend his own penis.
What we need to understand, and educate others about, is that just because you were mutilated, that's no reason to suggest it to others. In the US, most baby boys are cut so daddy won't feel bad about his penis. Education is the key. We don't hate those who were cut, but we despise those who promote more cutting.
just because you're poking women with your broomstick doesn't mean she likes it. google "womens perspective circumcision or no circumcision?" you'll get straight facts buddy.
Well, men don't exactly like to think ill of their penis whatever its state. A circumcised penis doesn't "look better" for a start: the glans is dried, pale and keratinised. And it definitely has nothing over an uncut version on a man who happens to wash regularly.
Not to mention of course that the foreskin is the most richly innervated part of the penis. Oh, and the fact that female produce more smegma than men...
Who is this ignorant man? He has believed all the myths that perpetuate this from of human stupidity called circumcision.
Circumcision is not "cleaner", it is not "better", it is less. Circumcision removes natural function, cuts through fine touch receptor nerve endings, remove the natural mobility of penile shaft skin that contributes greatly to the pleasure dynamic of sex, both solo and with a partner.

Just because you were mutilated is no reason to try and justify it in a way that promotes more infant sexual abuse and mutilation!
