The first three books, they're AMAZING. Can't be beat, by anything. But when this one came out... It all went downhill from there. I still read Maximum Ride, but it's not the same, you know? The first three are my favorites.

Worst mystery/thriller writer I've ever read. Years ago I read one of his first books called "The Midnight Club." I finishhed it, somehow. But all I could think was, "How in the world was this piece of trash ever published." If you want a real mystery/thriller writer read Michael Connelly...especially the Poet. This guy is garbage.

The third book was a mess of plot failures. For instance, we're in a time paradox. No we aren't! Yes we are. No we aren't! You have a chip in your arm. Now you don't. Now your wrist is broken and you can't use your hand. Wait no, just kidding. None of that really happened. But it did... Dx STUPID It got bad half way through the third book and didn't stop getting bad. And now look what Patterson has done! He needs to focus on ONE series at a time, seriously... Phail

But that is what made the book interesting. It didn't just have one.boring.thing. happening throughout the whole book. I think Patterson did a great job on all of the MR novels.
