in the last few years someone else made a boat to drive off the trailer and drive into the water and go but too expensive... I like his better would buy one if they were available here
but that other company that sells a similar boat wants allot of money for it and probably would not like his competition.... His boat is a better in so many ways hope they become available sometime soon

Its not pointless. Its a lawnmower converted to a boat. The lawnmower serves no purpose in this vehicle, other than to move the boat. It could be any other kind of engine, but he just decided to use a lawnmower. The point isnt to cut grass, its for transportation, and easier acces to his other boat.
I don't see how that's useless... he'd otherwise have to attach a regular boat to his car and drive that load around. Sure he won't go fast, but it seems to be fit for his purpose.
