Only 22 years old here, just got done with my inguinal orchiectomy yesterday. Let me tell you, I think just getting lost in your thoughts and being analytical to anything you might've felt prior to your diagnosis puts you worse off than the soreness you have after this procedure. Actually, nevermind, this hurts pretty bad, haha. Anyway, given my hereditary predisposition to cancer (both my parents passed away from it), this didn't come to me as much of a surprise. It sucks and I'm stuck waiting.
I just went through 4 rounds of chemo (B.E.P.) and finished about a month ago. . .I've been feeling dull pains in my abdomen exactly where my largest tumor is, so now I'm worried I'll need the surgery /cry.
Oh well, I go in for a pet scan this Friday, and will know the results the following Tuesday. Not much I can do till then.
I had my orchiectomy last year along with a dose of chemo (charboplatin) but it recurred.
Just went through my tecticularcancer.. No walk in the park. I've got my health back now and im trying to inspire more people to check themselfs out. Here in Sweden you dont get any info about tc so its pretty much up to yourself to find info.. That really suck. Your video inspired me to take action and get peoples attention regarding tc. Thank you!
I thank you for posting this. You are a hero in the eyes of those who understand your message. I am one of them. I will share this in hopes that your message can be spread more. God bless you and good luck.
I saw a link to this on ajohnsonlive's channel. A friend of mine had testicular cancer in his mid 20s, had one testicle removed and had to have chemo too. Well done to you for raising awareness.
great video mate, i am getting a fare few views the last couple of days due to my how youtube helped save my life video i have faved this video in hopes some of my viewers will notice it, thanks man good luck with everything buddy :)
Nice work mate, hope all is well. I went down this road also, although mine only spread to my lungs and involved 9 weeks of chemo, a year after the orchidectomy!
Great to see you still smiling even though your fighting the tough fight.
I'm really excited too, it's a great cause. We all have special men in our lives and this will help to make it remain that way for a much longer time.
