N86 or Satio?

Depends on what the recent firmware fix for the Satio does to battery life and reliability. N86 is safest option right now if you can find it from your operator and possibly has best camera (lower MP but better low-light performance... probably).

The Satio is nice and the camera is possibly a bit better, but the 97's battery is better... It also depends on your preference, but it's worth takign account of all the Ovi apps that Nokia offers.

Personally, if I already had an N97, unless I really hated it, I'd hang on 'til next year.

Battery is comparable indeed. iphone has 1100 mah, Sation 1050 but on li po 3.6v.

According to spec I think the battery is good enough. I'd end up charging mine every day anyways as I'll be watching a fair amount of videos on my way to work. and hey it has TV-out too :D

No. The Satio battery is 1000mAh and the iPhone 3G IS 1150mAh. The current iPhone 3GS is 1219mAh and neither has background apps, a 12MP camera or a camera flash to drive.

The batterylife is good, unlike what some false rumors say.

You don´t get full stamina until you´ve charged it a couple of times though. (Probably this is where those rumors comes from)

That's not our experience and with a 1000mAh battery it's a substantially smaller capacity that similar phones, so this isn't a surprise.
