Might seem like a really stupid question, but please can someone tell me why numbers are used when writing arabic in english? Like in the title of this song "3" is used. What does it mean? How does it work?

some Arabic letters r not found in English language as "ع" or Aa so its replaced by 3 when someone write arabic words in english letters ,, also as 5=kh= خ,,

2=A=ء,, n so on :)
