Quess where these and the other deer will travel? All the way across the Earth up to Norway. I simply could not resist :-). Around Xmas time I always have 2-3 deer visiting my garden here.

fantastic! I wonder where you get the inspiration. have you spent days in a zoo or national park studying deer or how do you prepare yourself? Are there special conventions about how to paint deer as it is for horses?

Deer is a traditional subject matter in Chinese painting, because the pronunciation of the word "deer" in Chinese is "Lu" same as another word LU(祿) for scholar-official's salary or retirement pension. So deer is seen as very good omen.
