IF she had been a robot the whole time why did she bother taking him out there? Also she had plenty of times to stop him from tearing the place apart. Pretty corny movie.

i think halloween iii was fine, but i believe that the producer deliberately tried to lead people to think that myers was in it. though i liked the movie once i saw it, it's possible that i wouldn't have bothered seeing it if i had known ( ahead of time ) that neither myers nor loomis was in it. i saw this movie soon after it came to the theatre when it was new. the producer probably eventually realized that he should have stuck with myers/loomis instead of spending time making this movie.
The end of this movie is disturbing and upsetting. Though the bad guy was killed, you get the feeling that the children wearing the masks died as well. It just ends on that note, which leaves you with an awful feeling, just as a horror movie should do. One of the most effective endings of any movie ever.
@starkiller20293 No the first two channels stopped airing the commercial, which is why the kid in the mask turn the knob to see if it was still on the third channel. Gum2Gum was stating that the man on the phone should have turned the knob back to one of the other two channels that listened and stopped playing the commercial.

Halloween III was the second best of the series... Not even really fair to compare it with the generic slasher bullshit the Halloween series became after part 1. I'm in the process of writing a sequel to Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Where the story begins after the ending of Halloween III. Challis fails to save half of the Worlds population of children, and they're masks get infested with the snakes, bugs and other insects. The one changing the channel with the witch masj has a different mask which contained a source of power from Cochrans Witch craft, and he doesn't die. He passed out, but kills Challis and the Gas Station Attendent.

Not too many people is watching WWE these days, either. They're audience has shrunk significantly over the years, so I don't think that is anything to be proud of either at this point.
I remember when they were pulling in 6.0+ ratings each week. The product is absolutely horrendous compared to what it used to be and it is no wonder why PPV buyrates are as low as they are. You can thank your savior Vince McMahon for the deterioration of the wrestling business from what it once was the past several years and his watering down of the product for making you actually think 3.0 is actually good. Wait until Monday Night Football starts and then it ill be even worse.
I agree with that, however their stock price is the lowest in history and their PPV buyrates are in the toilet compared to what they once were. The product is awful, plain and simple, yet people defend it and are afraid to tell it like it is while bashing the competition. Why? Do you like Vince having a monopoly?

I don't see why people hate this movie. When I was younger and didn't know any better, well yeah, I hated it lol. But now that I'm a little older and more mature, I find this to actually be a decent movie, and I enjoy watching it every year around halloween time plus any other time I just plain ol' feel like watching it :)

Seriously man, I remember watching this for the first time on the AMC Monsterfest marathon thingy, and it was during a cloudy afternoon day (it really set the mood) and once it went black I remember shouting "JESUS CHRIST!"
I kind of like this one, even though it's disgusting at times, and at some points, very terrible. It's better than every other Halloween movie. Tom Atkins is AWESOME. And Dan O Herlihy is the perfect bad guy. What I don't get is how a commercial could do this. And why insects and snakes? Why not just have the Silver Shamrock thing electrocute the child? I know it's a horror movie, but damn...
Yeah, it would make more sense to just have it electrocute them. Or maybe a small bomb in the tag. But the scene where the kid dies is just really creepy. And instead of androids, Cochran could've brainwashed people or something.
Its sci-fi horror. Like Quatermass. Something so harmless as a commercial could destroy children. Ever heard of metaphors? Like They Live, aliens brainwash us through advertising.
In the TV version of Quatermass with John Mills, young people are drawn to Stonehenge for some hippy-type out-of-the-body/world experience but are deceived and are destroyed by an alien intelligence. Same thing, here.

I mean they are all so good with their different original plots - geezer with knife goes around stabbing people - great the first time , ok the second , but by the 10th ..... come on , boring as fuck ! At least give Halloween 3 some kudos for trying something new , even if you didn't like the movie .

@loopingstaruk I would not necessarily deem the rest unenjoyable. However to each his own, I myself am a die hard fan of Mike, though I did find the originality we were presented with in the form of Halloween 3 quite refreshing, truthfully any work of Carpenter's is a masterpiece.

@kaijutube They think it's terrible because it doesn't have Michael Myers who was killed in part 2. The series was never really meant to revolve around him like it does now. Each movie was meant to be a differnet story for each Halloween. Wouldve been interesting to see what they would have been able to come up with.

I'm in the process of writing a sequel to Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Where the story begins after the ending of Halloween III. Challis fails to save half of the Worlds population of children, and they're masks get infested with the snakes, bugs and other insects. The one changing the channel with the witch masj has a different mask which contained a source of power from Cochrans Witch craft, and he doesn't die. He passed out, but kills Challis and the Gas Station Attendent.

I remember when they were pulling in 6.0+ ratings each week. The product is absolutely horrendous compared to what it used to be and it is no wonder why PPV buyrates are as low as they are. You can thank your savior Vince McMahon for the deterioration of the wrestling business from what it once was the past several years and his watering down of the product for making you actually think 3.0 is actually good. Wait until Monday Night Football starts and then it ill be even worse.

I agree with that, however their stock price is the lowest in history and their PPV buyrates are in the toilet compared to what they once were. The product is awful, plain and simple, yet people defend it and are afraid to tell it like it is while bashing the competition. Why? Do you like Vince having a monopoly?

I don't see why people hate this movie. When I was younger and didn't know any better, well yeah, I hated it lol. But now that I'm a little older and more mature, I find this to actually be a decent movie, and I enjoy watching it every year around halloween time plus any other time I just plain ol' feel like watching it :)

Am not saying it wasnt good but by putting Halloween in the title with no Michael Myers in the film was a big mistake but if it was just called Season of the witch maybe things would have been different!

I kind of like this one, even though it's disgusting at times, and at some points, very terrible. It's better than every other Halloween movie. Tom Atkins is AWESOME. And Dan O Herlihy is the perfect bad guy. What I don't get is how a commercial could do this. And why insects and snakes? Why not just have the Silver Shamrock thing electrocute the child? I know it's a horror movie, but damn...

Its sci-fi horror. Like Quatermass. Something so harmless as a commercial could destroy children. Ever heard of metaphors? Like They Live, aliens brainwash us through advertising.
In the TV version of Quatermass with John Mills, young people are drawn to Stonehenge for some hippy-type out-of-the-body/world experience but are deceived and are destroyed by an alien intelligence. Same thing, here.
