i don't support the idea of everything being on the web ether.

if the service is shut down or the sever is damaged from getting hacked and so forth all those files are lost and you have very little control over this.

its just safer to use your own computer to store your important files.

i use microsoft office because its just easier due to the fact that my school uses the latest microsoft office.

openn office is compatibe with it or use google docs
