BEST game of the 2006 Postseason, the rest was BORING! Not a single game in the 2006 postseason went to extra innings. This was the first time an American League pennant clincher was won on a walk-off homerun since Aaron Boone did it against the Red Sox in 2003 but more exciting than Boone's. I was hoping in game 2 of that ALCS, Frank Thomas would hit the first ever walk-off grand slam in postseason play. Magglio's walk-off homer should've come with the bases loaded one out.

The past 5 years when the Twins played good, their avg attendance ranged from 22-28,000. The Tigers while playing good, averaged over 32,000 both last year and this year so far. Detroit also holds the longest streak of ANY MLB team for consecutive years over 1 million fans (currently at 42 years and counting).

And Minnesota, a team that almost was canned a few years ago, and even tho they remain a good baseball team, the only games they can sellout are the playoffs. And the Detroit Tigers in 12 losing seasons still beat the Twins in attendance...now baseball fever is back in fullforce in motown. Michigan fans blow Minnesota fans out of the water.

Now that Detroit's good, their attendance is blowing Minnesota's out of the water. And you DARE use the word HISTORY? Detroits history makes Minnesota's look like sh!t. Ask any baseball fan and guarentee you 99% say the Tigers have better history. They almost did away with the Twins several years back.

Most people aren't psycho and dont want to "do away" with anyplace. Ask anyone whos been to both areas, and theyll tell you Southeast Michigan is way, WAY nicer than Northwest Illinois. You obviously know that too, because youre harping on just the city itself. Well let me tell you, I live in the suburbs, havent had to sleep a night in my life in Detroit. However I had to stay in Chicago last year for a weekend & I had to stay IN the city: it was ghetto, VERY scary, and smelled like sh!t.
