Theorem of God

1.) All things that exist must be described in words.

2.) Words describe things, things do not describe words

3.) Therefore all things that exist are first described in words in order to exist

4.) Therefore the first thing to exist must be a word

6.) God is the Word and therefore created all things by the first word and therefore God must exist.

What is required for a word to exist?

In written form, a language, paper, and ink must exist before a word can be written. Engraved, the stone must exist first. Typed, the computer and keyboard must first exist.

In spoken form, a word requires air and a person to speak it.

Conclusion?

God is a word and nothing more! Like any other word, it was invented and spoken by man!

That aside, you didn't refute my theorem. Words require a conscious observer and a conscious observer requires words. Words come in many forms, thoughts are words, math requires words. Nothing exists without a conscious observer. So who was the first conscious observer? There has to be one. This is confirmed Quantum mechanics:

1.) I highly doubt a quantum physicist is going to claim that as a proof of god. It's a completely unfounded and non-sequitur statement.

2.) Even if a scientist did make such a statement, it's nothing more than unprovable, untestable opinion. Appeals to authority do not an argument make.

Wait back, up, why disprove god. The fact that you dont believe in god, is compleatly (100%) validated by the fact that they have not presented any evidence why its real. Since you Atheists are so quick to accept Scientific evidence for fact and credibility, I will present you with a challenge of my own. First, realize that what you rely on is what you are entitled to, i.e, Science will yeild you facts about nature and life forms. But, if you want evidence that God is real, then you must rely on something other than Scienfific evidence. God is a spirit, and can only be discovered through seeking for spiritual evidence, which is revealed by spiritual means.

I'm not sure you can do enough research to pose all of them being right. Seems like with as many religions as there are and how long it takes to understand even one of them that you would never have the time even if you devoted your whole life. Maybe my calculations are off.

Pursha...however he spells it appears to believe that god revealed himself to us in the different cultures in different ways. The problem of it being a personal revelation doesn't appear as a problem because he seems to thinks all of the religions are right. He doesn't appear to have done enough research to find out how oppositional they are to each other much less how much they contradict themselves.
