haha, i had no idea Jason Aaron was writing manifest destiny until i watched this video. That's probably because, much like yourself i vowed to never buy another wolverine one-shot or mini series ever again. Had I known, i might have actually picked it up. I will definitely check out his weapon x series that's coming up though.
ELLIOT i gotta say i thought DARK AVENGERS was pretty aswome on every level. Maybe its becuase i dont really buy the marvel titles in general. I dunno but it was cool.
But whats the deal with TOMMY LEE JONES as norman osborn. They awere alreayd drawing him as DUM DUM DOGAN over in IRON MAN last year.
BTW, you know who I think would make a GREAT 'Dum Dum' Duggan? Ted Levine, late of The Silence of the Lambs and currently on 'Monk.' If you look at him now, he's a dead ringer! Check him out on IMDB and let me know what you think.
I agree with Jose. When it came to the praise of the Wolverine comic, I didn't enjoy that as much as your previous critiques because it didn't seem as focused and reasoned out as your criticisms of Loeb, Batman RIP, Final Crisis, Secret Invasion, Newsarama, etc. Saying you like to read Wolverine fight kung fu guys is not nearly as colorful and humorous of a discussion as your "two guys against the world" dissections of the failings of comics' best selling titles and creators.
Hey, thanks for taking my comment with a sense of humor. Actually, there's a new show on G4 now called "Human Wrecking Balls" with two musclemen and a sexy nurse, and the guys demolish buildings using only their bodies, smashing windows and doors with their fists and feet, and the nurse fixes them up at the end of the show. I think of your show as the same thing for comic books, except you smash with your heads, and you're too sincerely feminist to play the sexy nurse card.
Thanks for the compliments Pink! I like the comparison to Human Wrecking Balls which is, btw, an awesome show. I also appreciate that you think Jose and I are 'sincerely feminist.' I do have a tremendous amount of respect for women, especially those I know that work in the comics industry, but that's not the reason we don't have a 'sexy nurse.'
We don't have one because a) I never thought of it and b) I doubt I could find a women who'd put up with us! LOL

Admit it, you guys just prefer it when we rip stuff, don't you? ;-)
I'm afraid that our reviews of Dark Avengers won't be harsh enough.
You tell us once they get posted...which should be soon...
I hope.
