  • Hi I like this nice melody, very well interpreted, Than,k Friendly Jack

You are very good on the organ too, continue,

  • Not too slow for me. Very musical and sensitive playing. I predict organic success for you!

  • Bien ,mais , sur quelles éditions de Bach jouez-vous ce no 35 ?

    Notemment les ornements ???

  • Too slow, but otherwise, nice. I play this myself, but probably at double the speed. Also, very obnoxious registration - ouch.

  • Ho Ho for 2 months that You are playing, this Ok with more practice, it will be better, but for now, it is good, Jack

  • It is very nice, this piece, and You play very good, the sound of this organ is very good too, Félicitations, Friendly Jacques.

  • Too slow.

Solo stops too loud - especially when that slow.

After a solo note speaks a long time, let it pause and breathe. Need not speak right up to the next note.

Zoom in a little closer to have you and organ more visible.

    Nice performance, nonetheless.

  • Liebster Jesu, wir sind hier,

    dich und dein Wort anzuhören.

    Lenke Sinnen und Begier

    auf die süßen Himmelslehren,

daß die Herzen von der Erden

    ganz zu dir gezogen werden!

  • Too Slow

  • I love this piece .... amazing! ur doing reallly well after two months, but after listening to ur piano playing i can see why lol. By the way organ shoes are very similar to Capenzio low (cuban) heel character dance shoes, infact capenzio also make organ shoes the only difference is a slightly thinner sole. I have perserved with my organ shoes but i still prefer no shoes! :) but i have to wear shoes for my lessons.

  • The first time I've heard this piece was on the CD "Historic Organs of San Francisco". It was recorded at First Church of Christ, Scientist. The church has a rather large modern organ, approaching a concert-type instrument.

  • Absolutely beautiful. I had to stop and come back to this piece. It brought tears to my eyes...Please post more of your performances!

  • The bach choral is great...

but your interpretation is (I have to say that) not very bach like. Too much legato in the cantus, and you should sometimes gather the notes and let them start anew.

  • Complimenti!!!

E' bello ascoltare le soavi note di questo bellissimo corale interpretato magnificamente.GRAZIE FROM ITALY.

  • Thank you for this wonderful piece, played so quitely, so calming. Wonderful after a day of stressing school work. Very, very good after 2 months of organ-playing! Your teacher should be proud. (I can't say mine is always..)

  • thanks for posting!

Ive never played in my shoes and have played for over a decade, never to have foot problems and can play perfectly respectably. I was always taught any instrument is an extension of the body, so the closer I am to it, the better I feel about playing musically. BUT, that's just what I think!!!

  • i dont see anyone wearing gloves playing the organ

  • I have tried to play without shoes, it's a nightmare. You might find that thin-soled (leather-soled)dance shoes are good. My organ teacher recommended them, and Iv'e found them great. You don't stub your toes anymore lol.

  • WOAH hey thanks. they are much better than playing without shoes.

  • Lovely playing, nice sounding organ, but could do with being a shade quicker I think??? Where is this organ please? Looks great. This is one of my favourite Bach chorals. Thanks for posting, keep me informed of any others you post. J

  • thanks for your comment. i like this piece very much too. this organ is located in San Antonio, Texas.

  • Well played, quite a lovely piece. However I disagree with the comment about playing without shoes. It only increases accuracy if you've never persevered with shoes, and without shoes can lead to some nasty injuries, splinters on bad organs and broken toes (quite true!) in fast passages! sorry about the rant! Lovely Bach playing!

  • Next video, please move the camera closer and try playing without your shoes. (You'll like the feel of the pedals and play increase pedaling accuracy)

  • come on carol9821 you also talk about playing barefooted, Please post a video of your own, so we can see your feet too
