Ah, yes, the streetside set of 2000.
This was established as the main base for the morning and noon newscasts and often was used for special reports. The upside is the really nice view, the downside was that the studio was tiny.
They used it off and on, first as a regular set for AM and noon, then as a temp set when needed (in 2003-04, this was often), then finally as the noon set again until they moved to 1515 Hamilton in 2007.
