Too many of the animals I killed did not die quickly but clearly suffered in pain until I could reach them and put them out of their misery with a second shot. I got to the point where I realised that I love nature, and as such was contradicting this love of nature by causing sentient beings to suffer just so that I could enjoy the thrill of hunting.
