Thanks for the tip! That would be a lot more convenient, for sure, than having to keep getting it in and out of the bag. You have been very helpful and I really appreciate it. I hope I will soon be putting my own awesome videos on You Tube! Take care!

I am definitely going to get one like yours, and thanks so much for the info and the advice about the extras! Those are all a must, for sure. I wish a lot more people that post vids on You Tube would use a tripod. All that shaking makes me nauseous! LOL!Thanks again.
@r26y871 Sure. Also consider a backpack where you can strap the tripod on the back instead of holding it inside your bag. Very helpful. I got one from a company named REI that has straps.
WOW!!! Felt like I was right THERE! Do you do video or photography for a living, or are you just incredibly gifted at this??? What kind of camcorder are you using? I have to get one of those! Loved the editing, and the music you picked, and most of all, the beautiful scenery.
@r26y871 I've had about 15 years of experience, including training in school a few years ago and then a job that had me utilize the skills. I realized on my last trip that bringing a cheap, lightweight tripod is a must. Before that I would have to find something to balance my camera on. It wasn't easy.
I actually use a cheap Olympus SP-600UZ to shoot video and take photos. It's $160 on Amazon. It does 720p video and high resolution photos. Get an 8GB card, a case and a lightweight tripod.
