I just went to Holiday World yesterday. It's an amusement park/water park. The most depressing thing is the praying hands fountain and the life size nativity scene that are placed near the entrance.
I also got sunburn really bad. Must have been god punishing me for my evil atheist ways.
At some theme parks you have to be over a certain height to get in, at the creation museum you have to be under a certain IQ to get in, don't feel too bad!

You don't have to respect the place just because ownership of it is claimed by a private organization. It's space in the world, and you have every right to exist there if you're willing to fight for it. Fighting to stay in the stupidest place in the world, however, may not be the best use of your time and energy, so it's really more of a question of choosing your battles.

I'm Catholic and I even think this museum is a joke I was laughing at the exhibits going "oh come on you don't believe this do you?" Not worth the $20 I here you have to pay to get in. Also I'm more ashamed to say I'm Australian now Ken Ham and Mel Gibson are making us look bad and I feel sorry you got stuck with both of them. For the record I laughed at the picture see not every christian is so strung up.

@PandyFackleresque - yeah, flipping the bird wasnt cool, but I must admit..I Laughed out loud when I saw that pic. We are all guilty of that. Getting caught up in the moment and doing something that you think is really funny, but later when you look back at the whole picture you realize that maybe you should not have done that. I would have more than likely been kicked out of that "museum" for openly laughing out loud at the exhibits. I dont think i could hold it back. Kids riding dinosars? LOL!

I just went to Holiday World yesterday. It's an amusement park/water park. The most depressing thing is the praying hands fountain and the life size nativity scene that are placed near the entrance.
I also got sunburn really bad. Must have been god punishing me for my evil atheist ways.

You don't have to respect the place just because ownership of it is claimed by a private organization. It's space in the world, and you have every right to exist there if you're willing to fight for it. Fighting to stay in the stupidest place in the world, however, may not be the best use of your time and energy, so it's really more of a question of choosing your battles.
