  • I went to the one in Jersey City, NJ. Too bad that one doesn't have Smash TV. I love that game dude :)

  • Nice, in Brooklyn my Borough. Will be going here soon

  • Awesome! Heard Hank Chien talking about this place on AGG. I will be stopped by here if I ever get to NYC for sure!

  • BROOKLYN!!!!

  • Very good collection of machines.

  • It's a great place, just impossible to shoot unless you go when they just open or have a light. I went there a few years ago with my old camera and the video came out terrible. We're planning on going back this summer with our new light to finally show off all the stuff they've got.

  • Wow, Nintendo really has a history of using dual screens in their games. Donkey Kong Game & Watch, Punch-Out Arcade, and of course the DS and now 3DS. I guess the DS (oh let's use two screens) might not have been a sudden decision.

This makes me want to learn more about Nintendo's dual screen history and other devices in general that use two screens.

  • @chronocream

Nintendo used 2 screens for its VS Dual System arcade hardware (VS. Baseball used this hardware) too along with its Playchoice 10 hardware where one screen was used for the games & the other one was used for instructions. The PC-10 games were pretty much NES games on a timer where inserting coins bought you more time. Nintendo wasn't the only one with multiple screens. Tatsumi's TX-1 was like Namco's Pole Position but with 3 screens. Taito's Darius also used 3 screens.

The 6 player version of Konami's X-Men also used 2 screens. Sega's System Multi 32 games also used 2 screens. I'm sure I'm forgetting about plenty of others. Punch Out & its remake/sequel Super Punch Out that was released in the same year were some of the earliest arcade games to use dual screens.
