  • @NewYorican38 Sure, it's a great program if you follow the rules by eating right and never stopping until you have finished. Don't be like me and stop because it's always harder to start over! Oh, and remember to do your best & forget the rest :-)

  • Hey Will, funny I was in the same situation. I had missed about a week of exercise. I was at week 7 . so i though if i should start phase 2 over or start wee 7 over. I choose to do week 7 over and I am going to bring it heavy and in phase 3. Press play do your best forget the rest.

  • Okay, I know how you feel. I got major sick when I did p90x. I missed a week of work and was not myself for another week. I found out I had a lung infection. I got sick another time and although I did not miss work I missed working out. I think geting sick affected my results a lot and you know what? Who cares!!! You started this for the same reason that I did. You wanted a life change. You will live beyond 90 days. Keep pushing play. Whether you restart or just continue do your best and forget

  • its simple, if you miss 2 weeks just start where you left off. Anything more than that and you should start over. This info is in your P90X guide. Good luck to you.

  • NewForce3, Thanks for your input! I started with week 4 & I'm glad I did, my body wasn't ready to jump on week 5 after resting for a week but I'll be ready next week! :)

  • yeah no problem you did the right thing. This is a lifestyle change so dont feel that you have to put a number like 90 days as an instone deadline. Life happens and there is no end to P90X, it should be named "Power Lifetime Extreme". You can do any week even the recovery week, as many times back to back as you need or desire. Good luck and have fun.

  • Paul2037 Thanks! I wanted to start my week 5 over but my body was telling me "NO!" So, I'm starting with week 4 because it starts off with "Yoga X" which is the first time I was happy to do it! BTW, I was feeling down about missing a week and needed to do something to lift my spirits up & make me smile, so I went to a costume shop & asked how to put on makeup because I wanted to be the "HULK!" :)

  • Just keep it going I say!! It doesn't matter what week you're at, you can always add in the extra weeks tips to your current week. It is a lifestyle thing, so just follow along and do what suits you!! Good luck, hey at least those teeth of yours are sparkling white!! Your Mum would be proud!!! ; ) ~ Shelley

  • Thanks shellinaction! You are correct, it is a lifestyle change and I was down about missing a week. I started on Monday and I'm back smiling again with my "White Teeth" as I'm feeling the burn! :D

  • Rachel, thanks for the suggestions on trying rice or goat's milk. I have never tried soy milk or soy products before and thought I would change my diet but it really shocked me when I found out that this was the issue. Soy is also in many products I was told, I just have to really start reading the labels now. I also had to laugh at myself because for years I have eaten unhealthy food & never had an issue...that's life! :)

  • Hey Rachel, It seems like I was on the right track and eating clean aka healthy when I found out that I had allergies to soy, milk, shrimp and some other foods. I have never had anything like this happen to me and it really upset me because I didn't know what was happening to my skin and body. I'll be okay now that I know what's going on with me! :)

  • When I first saw this earlier I was enjoying a pain killer & thought I was hallucinating the F-out...rewatching it...I totally understand it now. haha

    So just restart the week 5. I'm restarting my missed week to so no biggie..it happens dude. Don't beat yourself up. =)

  • LOL, Yeah! I was beating myself up because I couldn't believe I was getting sick from eating several kinds of food. This has never happened to me but it's life and things happen. I had to make a funny video about it to make myself and maybe others smile to help me deal with the issue. Thanks for the advice, I will be restarting week 5 over on next week :)

    But im sure if you start where you left off youll be fine.. SOme people take off a week cause there sick or whatever then just jump back to where they were.. DOnt go back always push forward :)

  • Thanks, I was feeling that I stopped and lost everything and didn't know what to do because the training works you up to a level and point where you feel strong. After having a week off I just felt lost but I will keep going forward!

  • Very funny. WTF!!! I got the same hulk hands and do kempo warm up with them on. Does yours talk too? I go around when I get angry and yell "PAUL SMASH!!!" in hulkvoice. It puts me in a great state of mind. Very funny vid.

  • LOL! I thought I was the only crazy person using my toy HULK hands for Kenpo X! Yeah, they make several Hulk voices when I smash them together and yes I yell, "WIL SMASH!" and "YOU'RE MAKING ME ANGRY, YOU WON'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY!"
