@svofski you may use 2 small servos for gripper. It is the easy way. Have a look at the pictures of this link. The text is in greek, but you will understand what I mean.
A variation on a delta robot is manufactured by Adept Technology which uses four arms instead of three. It's called the Quattro, and it's the world's fastest robot.
