If Giant was smart they would give not just 30 bicyclists at the "reward" in the U. S. A. but 535 or one in each House of Representative district plus two per state (for the Senators); and for the same number of non-voting Representatives & U. S. Senate from the District of Columbia, and U. S. A. territories & possessions.
It could do the same in Australia one for each member of the Australian Parliament's House of Representatives and Senate. What a way to maximize advertising dollars.
Absolutely correct. It is time the bicycle manufacturers started to pay attention to the majority of bicyclists who commute to work, perform utilitarian tasks using a bicycle (e. g., going to the grocery store), bicycle tour, ride for recreation, ride for socializing, and just to enjoy themselves.
I hope Giant's U. S. A; and other nation's distributors sponsor similar promotions.
Unfortunately, the link web address is not valid.
Hope this marketing effort succeeds and that Giant spreads it across the world. I think Everyday every day riders get seen by the masses a lot more than racers, and "every day biking" culture is a smoldering ember the masses may just be ready to embrace with their bike-buying wallets. My Giant Nutra might just find its way to the cargo bike revolution (it's got an Xtracycle and about 25,000 miles on it).
I am a Giant "Swede" rider. Just the bike that a 70 year old Gent requires, in order to maintain health and fitness and continue the rejuvenation of an atrophied buttock, which was caused by too many hours driving cars and tractors. Sit up straight and exercise on a Swede. I'm feeling good now thanks to the Swede and a sports massage machine. My rheumatology specialist recommended bike riding. It worked.

Love the idea but Giant don't have a High Nelly bike in their collection so they have nothing that suits my anatomy :-)

Are you guys going to sponsor the riders to the TDF? What happens if the rider is `too good to be true`.. (;
