These models are very simple to understand and would work incredibly well if you could actually accurately predict g and r. When you are dealing with high market cap stocks that sell a diversified line of products, a lot of which you have no idea, for one, what they are/do or how well there will be demand and if there is demand, which segment of the market will make it up and... Things get complicated, financial statements are more than often skewed and cooked. A lot of information is hidden..
