If you type /connect & then IP:Port numbers and it won't connect then you should download "CoD 5 1.7 Private Client Patch". You type /connect & then the IP & port & press F3 to enable the patch & then press enter. It should connect to the server.

Ok if it doesn't work and nothing happens you can ethier have patch 1.6 and play on tunngle lan servers, or you can search in google: World at War profile creator and then press search, The reason why it doesn't connect is because you MUST have online profile and don't give me that shit that you don't because I know.

Call of duty 2 is better online than World at war, and its only $9.99 on Steam. I reccomend you give it a go. It has amazing graphics and awesome gameplay, an you dont need a particularly good machine to run it. Also, Operation 7 is a great FREE Cod4 Clone. Check my video on it, its amazing to be fair =]

u have to go on c disk documemts and settings than click on your name,local settings,aplication data,activision,cod5,profiles,­delet all folders than create folder called how you want,open active.txt and write there name of that folder and save it than you will have online profile
