He didn't throw hammer before college. He threw the 16lb 56m his first year (redshirted) and 64+m his second year. Pretty good start. He increased his PR to 64.85m in his third year and was much more consistent in the 63-64m range. Hoping to add a few more meters to that PR in the coming year!
