This is something that can happen in countries where 98-99% of the population is Muslim, but it's not easy to happen in a country like Egypt where there are at least 15 million Christians. Turkey is also a different case, mostly due to their Kemalist tradition. There are plenty of anti-Islamic Turks who are much more fanatic in their beliefs than the Muslim ones.

I was at Occupy in my city, and you can rest assured I don't want anyone to bleed for me.

For me there is nothing more satisfying then dying for what one believes in, and trying to fight for the betterment of other beings. The only stopping me from pursuing direct action, is the clear lack of direction, and resolve found among the majority of movements. If there was a way to direct this "talk" into actual action, I would be out there right now, but sitting in tents isn't action.
