  • I now love this song,

  • I feel like crying once i heard this song...it reminds of something really that will never come back anymore. The best time in my life is my high school days!!!

  • I knew of these guys but I didn't pay much attention until I recently found their music on the net. I don't know this song but I like it. I am becoming a fan.

  • Today's music is not shit.

Go listen to Fleet Foxes and hear the best band since the Beatles.

  • Bleakunendig, i agree with you!

  • Alot of hate here for 'today's music' and I suppose you're right. You have to feel the way people who've grown up in the era of today's music do, to understand why we listen to it I suppose. We're just not jolly and innocent anymore :(

    p.s. I don't like today's popular music.

  • This was the first song to win an Academy Award from a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie called "Swingtime" 1936.

  • a batchmate of mine once asked me, "how do u compare d songs during this era, 'n d songs of today?" --- i replied, no point of comparison -- sounds ironic, but its a far cry INCOMPARABLE, i mean generally....from words 'n poetry, to music, to harmony, arrangement...these artists are RAW TALENT, dont need any electronics technology to enhance their music...

  • Fred Astaire..........

this is like the muzak version done by "rockers" lol.

  • My first LOVE, gave me a cassette recorder with Chad and Jeremy's songs, and I played it over and over the whole day and it almost sinked in to my Bones, This is were I first heard this song "The Way you Look Tonight"...It brings back my teens time..Sadly, he flew to L.A. to follow his Family, and no contact since then..How are you now, "PEPE"... from Baby Soriano..1972..

  • To the listener/viewer a ton of people have covered this song including James Taylor, Paul M and Rod Stuart. It's a Jerome Kern song.It was for the movie "Swing Time" and won the Oscar in 1936 with Fred Astaire's film version. I think it's a good example of a great song no matter what the generation. The Rappers should be so lucky.

  • One word - Excellent! What a great oldie. Very sweet! A great post. Thank you.

  • Thanks for posting this awesome song. They do it brillant. Yup todays singers just dont sing like they used to.

  • its just a moment in time--can last forever

  • Everyone always complains about "Why don't people sing like this anymore?" I agree that they seldom do, but listen to the Michael Buble version! Not bad for the 21st century!

  • One of my favorites from Chad and Jeremy.

  • A very nice song from the sixties I remeber the good old days

    Menalo

  • Dedicated to my man, Joe.Love the way you look, all the time.

  • a wise man once said.."if music and art becomes vulgar, there is problem with the government"....chaos will stir. so true!!!!so sad! Let's just hope & pray for mankind's existence!!! keep that restless charm..in a good way.

  • Listen to this song by The Jaguars.

    No comparison.

  • cool, i love it.

  • Even Chad and Jeremy can sing this song, just shows that a good song written can be sung by just about anyone. this is an absolute great love song...

  • Geeks are HOT!

  • This Jerome Kern classic is one of may all time favorite romantic ballads. And this version here is a sheer delight to listen to. THANK YOU for sharing it with us! May ALL your dreams & wishes come true in the New Year !!! :)

  • Lovely version of this brilliant song. Thanks for posting.

  • If you're having a dance with your significant other, I've got to say that the James Taylor rendition is perfect...though this one is great for nostalgia!

  • gerry and the pacemaker.........

  • A lovely song. I listened to this many, many times in the early 1970s--and the song is still great!

  • Love this classic song, and the classic beat of the 60s makes this song very wonderful and justice, and more likable than in original. I love their soft voices.

  • i love it too but of course i prefer imelda's sung, she has a clear voice, imelda is the best in all.

  • Very true, and Laurie's playing accompanied it wonderfully. Imelda's voice is beautiful in every sense existing. She has a real clarity in her voice, which you don't expect.

  • So beautiful....

  • sometime the latter part of 2007, they came to the philippines and were still good even in their early 70's chad & jeremy could still nail it. they re-recorded their songs here in acoustic version and sang summer song in tagalog. the album is "acoustic tapestry". great duo. it inspired me to tech my son my version, pls see my video response. thanks.

  • I just wanted to let you know that Chad and Jeremy were born in the mid 40's and would be in their mid 60's today. I know it's nit picking so I apologize. I agree with you that they still look great after all these years and still play great. Wouldn't be great if they did a new album or albums for that matter like they did in 1983. Anyways I don't want to make you feel bad. I just want you to know that they are 10 years younger. They are a fantastic duo and a great part of the British invasion.

  • they were both born in 1941...looking and sounding pretty great for 67

  • They are not that old yet! lol

    late 60's

  • If our young people listen to songs like this, perhaps there'll be less knife/gun crimes? I know people would think this is a simplistic view but I believe loud and meaningless music is a contributing factor to crime.

  • Crime is due to a number of factors, but I agree that culture, what someone takes into their ears, eyes, and mind every day is a factor in how they relate to the world around them.

  • Why don't people sing like this anymore!? The way they sing nowadays just raise my anxiety level.

  • I think they still look great today! Wish they would do a concert in their home country --- the UK.

  • @lottiesang Today's music is shit.

  • @lottiesang hhahhaha..you're so right!

  • @lottiesang I totally agree!!!

  • Agreat version of a great classic

  • The incompareable duo whose music defined and added beauty and melody to the 60's are ready to be enthroned to the R and R Hall of Fame

  • nice ok its fab

  • Brilliant!

  • Lovely orchestration of this old favourite.

Always liked this song from Chad and Jeremy/

  • Lennon and McCartney, Peter and Gordon, Chad and Geremy, Simon and Garfunkel

    FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think the duos you listed here are no doubt the greatest in the last century. I love everyone of them. I can't stand the way people sing nowadays. They annoy me but the way these older singers sing calms and soothes my nerves.

  • Thanks for posting this! Love these guys.
