@AlexGreenGarcia Its called a spade. I love this piece! And I found it on the banks of the Ohio River. I could tell you where, but then Id have to kill ya. haha. This site has been hunted heavily. I was lucky to find this thing!
@bristowboy20 I live too far away from the Ohio River, hahaha...but thanks for warning me. I just wanted to know what part of the States you find it. Nice find!!! I will look for your new videos, good luck!
@AlexGreenGarcia Youre lucky. Ive only found broken axes. Very broken lol. Thats one of the main things I would love to find. Ill watch your videos right now.
That is a very nice flared bit spade...... it was used most likely for working the ground & planting corn ......late Woodland or Early Mississippian period......very nice find!!!
That's a great spade! I was going to ask if there was alot of use-polish on the bit-end, but I see you mentioned that in an earlier post. The first point almost looked like a smaller Scottsbluff too.
@GreenPineMuseum Hey thanks! I dont think there is any other videos on youtube where someone picks up a spade, but i could be wrong. I havent seen any though.
thanks man. Ive come to the conclusion that its not a hoe. Its a spade. 8 1/2 inches long, and the bit is 5 inches wide. the bit is polished from where they used it. Its the best thing Ive ever found!
