if the deaf would really like to know what this sounds like i will try and explain the experience to you.......imagine in your minds-eye if you can a gay convention on a camping trip. they are sitting around the campfire holding hands and singing in chorus the brady bunch theme song.........if you can imagine what that would sound like....you're getting very close to the foo fighters.
The subtitles were done by the subtitling unit at ITV. And I agree, they're crap.
As far as comments go on slating deaf people who appreciate music. If you can find the time in your busy lives have a good for Advanced Bionics and have a look at the Harmony cochlear implant.
Because there are differwent levels of hearing. Some people are hard of hearing, others aided by both hearing aids or cochlear implants. Those with a profound deafness (total hearing loss) pick up the beats through vibration. There are many ways to appreciate and love music.
May I suggest you look up a woman called Evelyn Glennie, she has a total hearing loss and is one of the best percussionists in the world. I could also add that Beethoven was deaf too.
Exactly, Beethoven placed a pencil against his piano and then used his tongue (apparently) to feel the vibrations, and he is one of the most appreciated and most amazing composers of all time.
checks00 - as I said in a private message, stop being so ignorant. Do some reaserch on the Net before you try to 'criticise' what you don't understand, educate yourself first.
