I was lucky I guess. I was between the ages of 9-to-18 when these episodes came out in their 9 seasons. I remember my folks use to watch it and I would too. What separates this show from most was the real situations this show dealt with that we all deal with in life. Situation comedies these days have gone so far downhill. It's great we have these UTubes to enjoy!
I was a precocious 6,7,8 yr old enjoying AITF in prime time with my folks. The introduction of the CBS daytime reruns was a thrill. AITF after school..!!
that was a great one, it was posted a while back, unless they took it off:
Gloria: "...different...makes me look so different...Michael, I may be slow, but it's finally gettin' thru to me, I only appeal to u when I have this dumb wig on..."
Mike: that's not true...
Gloria: Michael it's not me it's this pile of hair from Kressler's that gettin' to ya I just happen to be standin' underneath it!!"
that fight had me laughing so hard I was crying hehe

You could see Jean Stapleton start to laugh at that, too! She covered it well, though. :) The best cast ever was on this show.

I liked Red Fox. Many great sitcoms back then and it would be hard to pick a favorite but All in the Family would be at the top.
truthfreedom4all 2 years ago 5
Yeah...All in the Family was the best:)
