@DominoRyder Jimmy Kimmel actually had the Under Taker on his show to pillow fight his cousin Sal. Under Taker! Kimmel has wrestlers on quite a bit. Big Show likes to do Conan show, the MIz has been on Fallon and Conan's show. The only one in character though is the Miz. The difference with Halls show is that all the wrestlers stayed in character because Vince wasn't quite to comfortable with them being themselves. It wasn't until the late 90's they could be chilled out instead of roided out.
What I'd like right now is for all you FAT, UGLY, OUT-OF-SHAPE YOUTUBers to keep the noise down while I take my robe off and show the ladies what a real man is all about. Now hit the fuckin music. LOL!
This is what wrestling needs. WWE and TNA are fucking horrible at promoting events. This is how you do it. You go on a show with national exposure, like this one or Leno or Letterman or Kimmel, work the necessary angles, sell your characters & make it something that people feel like they can't miss. And cut the PPV's back to about 4-5 a year, give it the big event/fight atmosphere again. Commit to the storylines, follow through and you can't go wrong.

Even though back then it wasn't for mature audiences (didn't have cursing or sexual stuff with women) what was great was that it had stuff that was not PC. The angles were brilliant & sold very well. And the faces weren't forced on the fans but accepted freely by them. And of course the heels could get heat without even forcing themselves. Plus they still had blood back then. The personalities were awesome back then.
Haha, I still remember when Jake stripped him nude that week after he wore the tights with Cheryl Roberts again after Jake warned him the 1st time. I loved those angles & feuds. I liked the one with Hercules fighting for his freedom after Heenan sold him as a slave to Ted Dibiase. The Piper-Rude feud in 89 was also cool (remember Rude gargling with mouthwash & spitting in Piper's eyes on Brother Love?). 1991 had great ones: Warrior-Savage, Savage-Roberts, Piper-Flair, etc.
The Flair-Savage feud with the "Elizabeth photos" was awesome. You'll never see angles & feuds like those again. I loved the cerebral ones that messed with the minds of fans (especially the little kids). Warrior being blindsided & put in the coffin by Undertaker, Jake training the Warrior (& backstabbing him), Savage getting bitten by the cobra, and Flair's attack on Piper (where McMahon got wiped out by Piper) were all great angles. Hogan-Slaughter was also a great/bloody feud.

@wwfvideos818 He was the WCW International World Heavyweight Champion. This may technically be considered a World title, but in reality it was a short-lived interim title that came out of nowhere and was soon absorbed into the real WCW Title. Not near as prestigious.

Haha, I still remember when Jake stripped him nude that week after he wore the tights with Cheryl Roberts again after Jake warned him the 1st time. I loved those angles & feuds. I liked the one with Hercules fighting for his freedom after Heenan sold him as a slave to Ted Dibiase. The Piper-Rude feud in 89 was also cool (remember Rude gargling with mouthwash & spitting in Piper's eyes on Brother Love?). 1991 had great ones: Warrior-Savage, Savage-Roberts, Piper-Flair, etc.

The Flair-Savage feud with the "Elizabeth photos" was awesome. You'll never see angles & feuds like those again. I loved the cerebral ones that messed with the minds of fans (especially the little kids). Warrior being blindsided & put in the coffin by Undertaker, Jake training the Warrior (& backstabbing him), Savage getting bitten by the cobra, and Flair's attack on Piper (where McMahon got wiped out by Piper) were all great angles. Hogan-Slaughter was also a great/bloody feud.

@wwfvideos818 He was the WCW International World Heavyweight Champion. This may technically be considered a World title, but in reality it was a short-lived interim title that came out of nowhere and was soon absorbed into the real WCW Title. Not near as prestigious.
