  • The company said it could take a 9mm, not a .22 or a .45. Different round=different shape=different effect. While a 9mm is stronger, the rounder, wider shape of the 9mm might be more conducive to this test. Also, did the company specify angle of impact and distance?

    I'm not saying it could withstand a 9mm (it probably couldn't). Just saying that you should have tested with the round the company specified in order to eliminate confounds.
