Comparing the densities is stupid because its just gonna shorten your impact time - which is what makes things kill you - the long it takes for you to stop moving the less things hurt. So if the density is higher you will stop moving faster? Thus making the impact worse. The dude is still going fucking fast. to the jump - way past 53 miles an hour and he stops moving almost instantly. It'll fucking hurt.

@intunewithzearth yeah thats what i thought about helmets when riding powder, too....but since i friend of mine hit a plate of ice in a similar crash (kicker was a way smaller, though) and suffered from cerebral hemmmorhage and will be wheelchairbound for his entire life, i think a bit different. I think this could have totally be prevented by wearing a helmet. But at the end of the day there is a risk no matter whether you wear a helment or you dont and anybody has to decide on his own..
