  • climbing snowbanks is fun

  • sounds like glasspacks

  • what exhaust?

  • it straight pipes with 5 inch tips i use to own that truck

  • Dang, it's Colt Seavers!

  • omg fallguy. i wonder how many people even know what you mean.

  • Maybe you should put snow tires on it then try it mr expert. I know a lot of mud tires that can't grab for shit on snow. I bet the tires I've got on my truck would give the snow mound a run for it's money.

  • snow tires wouldnt have done shit for it, because a strictly " snow " tire is a tall skinny tire, mud tires provide flotation which is what you need to drive ontop of snow

  • If you were intending on sending this to me, it would help if you hit the "reply' link. Your snow tires wouldn't take you anywhere. They're not made to CLIMB snow. They're designed to be softer than street tires which is what gives better grip driving on a snowy road. Why do you think they're not recommended for all season driving? Cuz the road will tear them apart. Also, there are LOTS of mud tires that will grip snow a hell of a lot better than your snow tires.

  • if it was a diesel it would have made it to the top but oh well. a chevy wouldent have touched that because it would get stuck in half a second

  • ROFL, you're the king of ignorance bro. No full size pickup would make it up there, ESPECIALLY a deisel since they weigh so much. You might be lucky to see a 4WD Tacoma or Frontier single cab 4X4 with 35" paddles making it up to the top, or a Wrangler.

  • lol ok you want to talk about where a truck can and cant go in the snow, bring what ever you got to troy montana in the winter and ill take you to the top of keeler, with my ford when theres enough snow to cover my hood

  • I'm not talking about where you live, I'm talking about the same place you're talking about, the hill in the video. It's about 40 degrees of incline, no truck can climb that because it will either sink through the snow or just slip like this truck did. And I know for a fact my 2007 F150 4x4 can't make it up this hill, even with my 6" lift and 35" Mud Grapplers. As for where you live? I won't claim I can climb it until I see it.

  • any wrangler can easily but a full size pickup. HELL NO lol

  • I'm not so certain about a Wrangler honestly. You'd have to lighten that bitch up a lot, hope the snow is fairly packed so it doesn't sink like a rock, and use either mattracks or mud tires. Eith an incline this steep the snow will either be light as a feather or solid like ice. If it's too light, you won't climb anything. If it's too solid, you'll just slide. Making it up a hill like this is greatly dependent on: how packed the snow is, your tires, your weight, and your throttle response.

  • agreed

  • also... a wrangler is really easy to roll.

  • I can't see it being a Chevy being the problem. The problem is the owner probably has an edelcrap carburetor, and those things blow on any incline. They also die really easy when floored.(like it did in the vid)

The problem is also that the dude doesn't have any kind of gearing in it, it has no tire speed. How are you going to climb something like that with no forward movement?

A diesel could make it better though because it has some throttle response.

My 73 F250 would do this fine.

  • No I'm the owner of this truck and it had a two barrel rodchester and I'll take an edelbrock over a holley anyday

  • It's Rochester, not rod. Anyway, on to the point, why would you take an edelcrap over a holley? I have had 5 different vehicles equipped with the edelbrock that were 4x4's and EVERYONE sucked on any incline. None of them could drive up a particular levee around my house. The only change was to a demon carb and that truck drove right up the levee.

The rebuilt Quadrajet we put on next was drastically better. It would idle at over 45* angles, and ran perfect. Try a different carb.

  • your an idiot. a ford aint even gonna touch a chevy's limit.

  • lol chevy

  • go get a ford and ull understant

  • FORD

  • this is nice quality video, it has a sort of film look to it. what camera was used to film this?

  • I used a Kodak Digital Camera (12 Megapixels)

  • is LEE MAJORS driving that beast? almost identical to the "FALL GUY"truck!

  • god damn that thing looks and sounds badass

  • Badass pick up.

  • Yeah a real truck! :D that looked like alot of fun. And nice with HD btw! :P

  • is that a manual?

  • a real truck! CHEVY ROCK!

  • you stole my truck!!! i swear i had to look outside to make sure mine was still there you copy cat of maybe i copied you what cool truck dude

  • It could've but the other side was almost straight down so we took it easy when it neared the top.

  • cool truck did it ever make it over the snow hill?
