when i polish my nails i let them dry for 2 ours then i i touch them softly to see if they are dry. but when ik go to bed and i wake op the next day my nailolish has prints from my sheets and stuff.. how can i solve that?

what are your tips on painting your non-dominant hand? whenever i use my left hand to paint my right, my hand is shaky and makes streaks on my right hand fingernails :/

@thegateau I used to have trouble doing that too, It takes practice. Id reccomend just painting your nails (with your non dominat hand) with a clear nail polish just for practice

Thank you for this tutorial. I didn't use exaclty the products that you recommended but before I kind of just did the colour coat or sometimes with base and then colour. Or I wasn't really careful with how I was applying the polish. I tried my best to copy your method and I never painted my nails so nice before lol

@Chocostars Aww!! I am so happy to hear that it helped you :) Keep at it!! It took me many, many tries before everything started coming together, so practice is definitely helpful!

@ggmarie12 2-5 min depending on the brand/polish type... usually like 1 min for base coat - by the time I've applied the base coat to all nails, the first I did is ready for color.

@SandraB1000 No, I do both at the same time - like I go from one hand to the next, then back to the first hand. I won't wait for one hand to be completely finished or anything!

@Arwai5 I definitely do :) I think they have occasional deals/specials, but it's not usually % off or deals on the kit - I think maybe on polishes only.

do you paint th entire nail or just what you can see (i mean not the edges) when i paint my entire nail i havee to "drag" my skin and it gets messy cause then polish ends up on my skin and i have to fix it with a toothpaste and coton balls...when idon't do that though it looks awesome but people tell me that they look horrible (they actually examine my nails one by one!)

@Valoe10 I pretty much alternate between Zoya's and Seche Vite. I also like Nubar's Diamont. I'm not sure if any of those are toulene-free...

@themeglacey I'm not particularly swayed either way - I like them both!  I find that Zoya's base/top coats seem to work really well with all brands, but Seche Vite sometimes doesn't work with all brands.

@apeelingaustin I usually paint my right hand first, because then I can use the left hand to clean up any edges (using the edge of my nails on the left hand - then remove excess with polish remover)!

@MisAJGraveS I didn't think much at first, because I've been using Zoya's Remove+ for the past year or so... but after doing swatches and using Orly's remover, my cuticles and skin were SO dry and cracked. I think if you're just removing polish ONCE, not ten times in a day, it's not probably not such a big deal!

@MisAJGraveS Definitely not if you don't have any issues with the one you already use! I like Zoya's Remove+ and one 8 oz. ($10!) lasts me *quite* awhile. I just bought the 32 oz. ($25) and think it's worth it (for me!). But no, don't add it to your list, LOL! if you are happy with what you got!!

@hdolphin2000 No idea - really hard to say. As far as I know, based on the timing, it doesn't anniversarize a collection with special packaging (it seems like the timing is right around Makeup Art Cosmetics, which just had standard black). Again, hard to know. It's a fall 2010 collection - MAC artists don't get updated until end of June/early July for the fall stuff. I'm hoping for info soon, but we'll just have to cross our fingers :)
