How to use Wii controller as pc mouse

have glove pie and ppjoy on my windows and darwiinremote, remote buddy and oscillator on my mac. even when the remote finds/pairs/or configures it never works. do i need a wii or have a wii turned on? or sync the remote to a wii 1st? i only bought the controller, and don't own a wii.

when i downloaded GlovePIE and oppened the folder there was no GlovePIE.exe just a GlovePIE 'Extension file' when i opened it it came up with a error -- " the program cant start because P5DLL.DLL is missing from your computer"

but i can see in the folder that file !!!!!!

if u dont want 2 tilt it then put 2 candles in front of ur pc and they work as sensor bars(well if u unplug ur sensor bar on ur wii and do that it work so id guess it works for this)
