i got a 93 ranger 4.0 and i burned the clutch out doing this stuff .. finally, after a month, im getting it fixed on the 1st. rangers are really good trucks for their size
i got a 93 ranger 4x4 4.0L 5 speed too... looks like the one in the video, but a little more beat up.. mine's falling apart.. thats why im getting a beater truck so i can leave my ranger on the pavement and fix it.. my slave cylinder went and had to put a new starter in it last year..
@acousticguitar355 looks just like the ranger i just bought its hard to find good vids of em on youtube all i keep finding is bs good little trucks though from what i have found out
Nice!!! I had a 93 ranger stx with a 3.0 v6. It came stock with 14 rims and a 3:55 drive gear. I put flowmasters on it and a neumatic shift kit on it. it ran high 9's on the 8th then I put 4:11 in it. it was high 7's then. with 145 hp stock
STFU!!!! You have absolutely no clue what in gods green earth your talking about!!!!!!! A Ranger would need around 700WHP. My 2.3 has 175WHP and it barely runs 15's.

a stock ranger would never make it into the 7's in the eight. i was running 13.1 and only doing 8.4's. so sorry bud

add a cold air intake and then see what happens. trust me I did it to my 4.0 and it's sounds sweet plus gave me like 5-6 more HP...
