@TheNLguy this is what i did. get some clay that will withstand intense heat, get another ring and press it into the soft clay. fire the mould so its hard and then pour the molten metal into the mould
if you just want to use a regular lighter i suggest buying a torch one from walgreens for about $5 and it will also work for melting thin aluminum wire
how did you make the copper mold? and if you didnt make it whered you buy/find it cuz im kind of starting to get into melting stuff and since tin is by far the safest i want to start with it in small quantities.

it probably is but it didnt say so on the wire spool it just said lead free wire. then said 95% tin and 5% of some other metal i cant remember
