  • Thats Solder ya nitwit.

  • Are you sure it's tin? Lol

  • @cowsrcool7658 what is the best way to create a mould for a ring?

i melt in aswell and i would like to make a ring.

  • @TheNLguy this is what i did. get some clay that will withstand intense heat, get another ring and press it into the soft clay. fire the mould so its hard and then pour the molten metal into the mould

  • @cowsrcool7658 ok ty.

  • you can make a bullet out of that i think

  • pewter

  • @TheZacyboy1000 this is tin not pewter

  • could i do this with y 2000-c butane torch

  • @HITMANMONSTER you can do it with anything that gets higher than 451 degrees so yes you can

  • @cowsrcool7658 from dealextreme

  • fuck you this is din

  • i know a funny little tric to make compressed tin

  • what is it

  • you can melt tin ontop of your regular electric oven in your house.

  • And lead with a lighter XD did it :D

  • yes, even lead which is 100 degrees higher than tin for melting

  • i did this today with a torch lighter :) it was fun and it all turned to a lil blob on the floor.

  • tin melts at 450F

  • i melted them all down into a big bar =)

  • rad, what did u do with those metal cubes

  • probably because tin melts at such a low temperature

  • will a regular lighter work?

  • if you just want to use a regular lighter i suggest buying a torch one from walgreens for about $5 and it will also work for melting thin aluminum wire

  • no its just propane

  • is hte fuel source hydrogen???

  • my copper mold was just a piece of pipe turned into a square

  • l0olz

  • how did you make the copper mold? and if you didnt make it whered you buy/find it cuz im kind of starting to get into melting stuff and since tin is by far the safest i want to start with it in small quantities.

  • only lead gives off toxic fumes, i think. :)

  • just so you know i dont melt things anymore i went back to forging iron and steel instead

  • tin doesnt give of toxic smoke/gas whatever

  • becareful of poisoning

  • it probably is but it didnt say so on the wire spool it just said lead free wire. then said 95% tin and 5% of some other metal i cant remember
