  • t forma de enseñar la musica.... unika... y uniko KOZI unikoooo --.... nicee good

  • i fucking LOVE his voice.

  • question, I haven't been able to find out any where, anybody know if Kozi is alright? All I know is that Mana and Gackt are all right. ( You know with recent events in Japan) Im sorry to bring this up....:(

  • @cagedrobin I wish I could have the answer. Közi (and Mako, from deadman) are my favourite japanese artists :(

  • @ultraviolentgeisha ... hmm, thanks anyway. I sent an email to Mana ( since I know they still keep in contact) I hope he responds....though I doubt he will...he's real busy....If only Kozi gave out an official statement like everyone else....

  • I wish this was my ringtone

  • hair flip .44

  • i would love to hear malice mizer with kozy as the vocalist ...

    D:

  • @Themrmigue MALICE MIZER's "Color Me Blood Red." Kozi sings the whole thing... though it's more like talking.

  • @Themrmigue

He sings color me blood red

He sings "beast of blood" during Mana ,YuKi and Kozi malice mizer reunion at a Moi Dix Mois concert

  • I love this song ♥

  • For me , Közi is just perfect♥

  • awww me encanta, como pude estar tanto tiempo sin escucharlo ¬¬* aun no puedo creer que el escribiera madrigal jejeje

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX Oh, dear, sorry about that! I got carried away I guess...happens to most of us, but I can assure you, I won't do it again :D Gomenasai

  • @Japanimegirl15 Heh...

Well, we won't need to worry about that again. =p

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX Sorry...I just love kozi a lot. I didnt like that someone insulted him.

  • @Ihateu4real You don't have to apologize to me. XD

    You're the victim of a troll. ;o

Happens to the best of us.

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX Yes actually it does i don't need to point out any videos to you just look at the make up he wears the contacts, Manson has done it way before him as well as a slew of other people.

  • @surenopimp Well, if you don't want to try to back yourself up with anything, fine.. But it's not making your argument any more convincing--or educational. Haha.

As far as Manson: Manson definitely wasn't the first to do anything that he did, either. Should we go into this one?

As I said in another response to a comment:

"Nothing in the entertainment industry is original anymore. Someone might be able to do it and they might get good points for it--but someone's done it before, doubtlessly."

  • Dude seems like a wannabe Marilyn Manson.

  • RANDOM SIDENOTE:

Am I the only one who thinks--while watching this--that some of Kozi's costumes have him bear a little bit of a resemblence to Edward Scissorhands?

    Hehehehe. XD

  • This might have already been answered but I am much too lackadasical to look through the comments right now. Is this all from one concert? Or is it multiple concerts mashed together? Because he may be good, but I doubt even Kozi can do quick changes on stage with no help in the middle of a song. XD

  • @otakudreamer Huh. Looks like I didn't specify in this video.

Oh well. People seem to like Honey Vanity a lot more than Incoherents, but...

I have it written in the Honey Vanity description; I forget what year the DVD is from, at the moment, but the whole thing is a collage of live performances.

I have no idea why they decided to produce it that way, but... It's the way it is.

Doesn't every musician wish they could change at the snap of a fingers, though? During a performance, I'd LOVE to. XD

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX But, Incoherents is the greatest thing ever. How can anyone like something more than this song?

I wish I could change my clothing with a snap of my fingers :(

  • @otakudreamer Compared to Honey Vanity, Incoherents appeals to a much more narrow audience--it's creepy, it's darkwave(ish), and it's got the crazy-carnival feel to it.

A lot of people don't care for it; though, this was my very first from Kozi, and it made me love him. Lol

And so do I! Ah, god. What I wouldn't give to be able to snap my fingers and walk around dressed in Asagi-esque outfits. lol

...wouldn't it be funny to see someone wandering the mall, dressed in the 7th Rose wardrobe?

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX I mean, my best friend and I totally don't walk around in full gothic lolita gear whenever we are around each other >.>

My very first Kozi too! I had had much Malice Mizer before it as well as Candy Spooky Theater. So compared to them, this was tame XD

  • @otakudreamer The only reason I don't walk around clad in full-set VK wardrobe is that the clothes get to expensive (FFS Why does Mana have to price all of the Moi-meme-Moitie pieces SO HIGH?! D: ;~;). If I had the money, and the temperature were right, I'd be all over the style.

MALICE MIZER was my first favorite-favorite group... Back before I knew what "hard rock" or "metal" was. XD Had everything they ever produced. e.e

I don't know about C.S.T. though... never got into them.

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX Don't even begin to imply that this is metal.

  • @surenopimp ...where did I ever try to say that Kozi had anything to do with metal? XD

  • i really dont even like this, but for some reason I cant stop listening to it.

  • @CataCrusis It ALWAYS starts out that way! Trust me... You listen to a song, and think "eeh.. it's not that great." ... and then you find yourself with the melody / rhythm stuck in your head...

Then you listen to it a few more times, then you're stuck with the words... And before you know it, you like the song...

It happened to me with just about every band / artist I like.

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX

lol. I was at work today and radomly SUBETE GAAAAAAAA popped in my head hahah

  • Why Kozi is not so popular? Only about 22000 views... so pity.. He is cool guy

  • @Mandavasa No clue... From what I know, Kozi is REALLY popular, actually.. but.. apparently people aren't looking for any of his videos.. at least, not on YouTube.

  • First time hearing Kozi singing [I wonder, why just now..]

the son is very cool. ^-^

  • I really like him!

  • amo a közi-samaaaa !!!!!! *¬*

amo el sufrimiento q se siente en su musica y en su forma de vestir!!!!! TuT

    lo a mo entero *Q*

  • I really like his voice . His songs are so strange but that's what makes his music interesting, isn't it? He's a real artist.

  • I'm addicted to this song. It's so cool! And I actually think I like the live version better than the CD.

  • In my opinion, Kozi's studio works are incredibly bland and lifeless compared to his lives... A lot of people feel the same way.

  • I would agree with that statement. I much prefer his live performances. His voice is gorgeous, but in recording, he covers it up with an effect.

He did in MALICE MIZER as well. He sang COLOR ME BLOOD RED, which I realized after listening to his solo stuff, using the same effects.

  • @ManasJeuneFilleX I like both studio and lives

  • @outsidereeplay I do too, but prefer his lives (very much so).

  • I find his voice incredibly beautiful

  • Perhaps he is not a great singer but I'm found of his music and his universe.

Kozi come back in France(he came once with Eve of Destiny in 2004).

I love his solo career(perhaps better than Mana's).

  • Mm. It's harder to please people with a voice as opposed to an instrument, but I for one think Kozi has a very nice voice; but it's all personal preference.

I haven't kept up very well with Kozi's career, so I hardly knew that Kozi did much traveling. I do know that he recently took up in DALLE...

And as for Mana's career, while I love his work, I find that it appeals to a very narrow set of people, and sounds generic after too long.. Staggered releases do that, though.

  • i love his fashion, his voice sounds similar to hide's though,, but its a different style completely, its really cool, gotta get my band playing music liek this xD

  • damn! work it Kozi! how could i forget your sexiness...such an inspiration and unique voice.

  • Haha, I so wanna be there..x]

  • Haha, I so wanna be there..x]

  • I love how he rolls his "r's very sexy ^^

  • After seeing this I gained too much respect for him. I thought he was too strange but now he's like amazing. lol

    Kozi>>>>>>>>>>>Gackt >:D

  • I don't about everyone else, but I'm totally giving you a thumbs up.

  • Kozi is too cool for choreography...

  • @outsidereeplay I woke my roommate up laughing at this comment ;;

  • @Kirakira713 It's funny cuz it's true.

  • might be kind of random...

but i love how he says 'subete ga...'

    <333

    anyways!

    Kozi-sama is awesome at lives!!

    <333

  • I really want his hat

  • Kozi-sama... <3

I really want to get his DVD...

I haven't heard much of Kozi's solo work at all, but I love this...of course. His voice is just...amazing!

  • Mm.. good luck. If I remember correctly, this DVD is out of print--LONG out of print, I think.

I know of a few places where you could probably download his music... Although, in my opinion, it's not as good as a live such as this. His regular tones are bland and... kind of not "sung"... you know?

Not to say it isn't good music~ It's certainly addictive.

  • I know. =*( I checked CDJapan after watching this and it is out of print...another thing I want that I'll only ever get through a Japanese auction site!

Yes I know what you mean!!

I just checked the website I use to download j-music and it has quite a list of his music! =)

  • You can find all of his albums on 4shared.

  • Dancing has never been his strong point <3 God I love him though XDD

  • I don't think that anything Kozi does is choreographed... so~

Yeah... I'm sure he's just goin' with the flow on these.

  • Oh I know XD I love it XDD

  • choreographed dancing just makes it look like they're trying too hard.

  • Correction: Poorly-choreographed dancing makes it look like they're trying too hard.

  • It would be cool if Malice Mizer got back together, but something tells me Kozi wasn't liking where the band was going.

  • Looks like someone read a translation of Honey Vanity and took the translator's comment to heart. XD

Malice Mizer MIGHT get back together someday, but even then I doubt it'd be a permanent thing... Mana hasn't said that Malice Mizer is finished yet, so, there's always the chance. XP

    We can always hope.

  • Are you making fun of me because you THINK I read a translation?

  • GO közi GO!!!

  • I'd have to say that this, Honey Vanity, and Kaikou are my favorite Kozi songs.

  • Incoherents and Honey Vanity (Retro. Club mix) I can agree with... Regular Honey Vanity kind of bores me unless I'm in the mood for it...

Kaikou, however... neh. That really wasn't Kozi's style--it was done for a book / movie thing anyway, wasn't it..? Izayoi no Tsuki wasn't really a production-grade album from Kozi...

Que Sera Sera and Nocturne are two pretty good ones though. Check those out if you haven't already. =p

  • kozi.. as bizarre as always..!! i luv his style...

  • Mana-sama and Közi are both incredibly inspired musicians. They're quite different, but I love to listen to them both. <3

  • Que buen tema.

  • Comment removed

  • I love him voice <3

  • his music genre sounds horror retro...i think it would also be cool if he tries horror metal.

  • A little late in seeing this comment, but what're you going to do, right... XD

Kozi is industrial / visual kei / darkwave, if you ask me... And knowing the way he writes music, any form of metal wouldn't really be metal coming from him....

  • bahhhh his dancing is so adorable

  • I love Kozi.I'm glad he has kept some of his elements he had back in Malice Mizer.

  • I love this song and the live is sooo good!!

    Kozi Rulz!!!

  • i have this DVD. <3~

I've had it for some time now. x3

I remember when I first got it. I was going CRAZY!

    :3

    &i watched it like 594384 times. x3

  • My love of this video is indescribable with words. English words.

In Japanese I believe the term is

    SUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    and then

    -sparkle eyes-

  • LOVE this so much <3

    I miss kozi

  • ahh, the song sounds so... kozi-like...fetished...erotic...

Kozi's outfits look TOO good on him! Great thanks for uploading this live!!

  • I love Kozi... (can you tell?) I always thought he was the hottest one in Malice Mizer :P (Gackt is so overrated...) But I love this song and his others. I wish his CDs were easier to find though... T^T

  • I can agree with you, for the most part--but obviously I'm a Mana-fan, not a Kozi fan, so when you say that Kozi was the "hottest", I disagree. :p

Men in dresses = pwn XD

But yes, Gackt is overrated....terribly. I like his music, but from what I know, he isn't so great of a person (I only hope that I'm wrong there).

  • Hey. ^^ I really don't want to pick a fight, but what makes Kozi or Mana-sama a better person than Gackt? I love all three of them, but I just thought it was weird that you would say that about Gackt.

  • Well, I personally believe that Kozi and Mana are the better two-out-of-three when talking about Gackt.

I'm not sure that a Gackt fan would understand where I'm coming from when I say this, but Gackt as a whole can be summed up as...

-Arrogant, Egotistic, Controlling, Self-center and Self-absorbed.

As I said to a friend of mine:

"Gackt's Ego reaches a venue about a week before he does, and doesn't leave until a month later."

  • Hahaha. Actually, I understand completely what you mean. >_> I suppose that I was talking more about Gackt's entire personal life. I think that as a whole he is a very caring person, but yes, Arrogant, Egotistic, and all those other words are actually rather valid descriptons. It's actually kind of sad how much I laughed about that last thing you said, considering that I am a Gackt fan.

  • Hmmm....I guess that I just don't think that there's anything wrong with any of them. I am not saying that Mana or Kozi are worse than him.

  • LIke Mana isn't?

No one know what any of the j rockers act like in real life, so this assumption is based off of a stage profile, correct?

  • I can't say much for Kozi, but... There are certain artists who you can get a feel for, just by watching them; performances not as much as interviews though... People tend to throw their persona aside for a stage-persona.

  • Very catchy song ^__^

  • love kozi-sama.kozi FOREVER!!!

  • sugoii sugoii I love Kozi

    the best!!!!

  • Bonne qualité d'image.

  • this song is catchyyy!!! XD

  • jajaj i love tis song is so funny xD

  • this song is so cool

too bad there aren't many pics of Kozi with the oufit that he wears at :42

  • wow, that's my fav song of Kozi ^^

  • 0:15 - 0:17 Kozi's hat<3 I love he.

  • Is it Közi who sings? I love this song 8'D

  • lol

Yes, it's Közi, otherwise it wouldnt be KOZI - Incoherents.

    XD

  • Yeah, but I didn't know Közi could sing.

  • Anyone can sing, unless you have some kind of awful, screwy voice.

    ...but yes, Kozi sings~

if you listen to the song "Color me Blood Red", by MALICE MIZER, that's Kozi singing too--Kozi even has his own version that he used for one of his solo lives.

Kozi's version of Color Me Blood Red is actually much harder than the MALICE MIZER version...

  • Kozi was even asked to be the singer officially for Malice after Gackt was asked to leave, but he turned it down -nodnodnodnod- didn't think it would be the correct direction for the band.

  • agree

  • Are you really sure HE was asked? Mana asked Yu~Ki at least, I don't think Közi was asked at all :S

  • does Yu~ki was asked to sing? i wonder how Yu~ki sings? =) i don't think he would ever accepted cause Yui is a very much shy person to be a vocalist xD

and of course Közi still plays guitar! he played in DALLE and actually he's playing guitar in another band... i think it's called PPP

  • I knew he sang, but does he still play the guitar? I'm kinda curious about that...^^;;;

  • Yea, I'm quite sure that he does--otherwise they wouldnt show it in the beginning of the vid. xD

And even if he doesnt play live, he wrote the whole of the song himself, so naturally, he HAD to play the part for it in order to record.

  • thank you so much manasjeunefillex for this video Kozi was my second favorite member of malice mizer after mana-sama.

  • Kozï sings very well

  • This makes me wonder WHY Kozi wasn't the vocalist of Malice Mizer...Well, still, Kozi's amazing :)

  • no kidding~

Kozi is good at what he does, but he wasnt an EXCEPTIONAL vocalist like Tetsu, Gackt, or Klaha... Besides, I think Kozi CHOSE to play the guitar in Malice Mizer... I guess you'll never know, huh? :)

  • Aah, the dreaded fact, which is SO true.

But, hey, before Gackt joined, didn't they look for a vocalist AMONGST themselves? Then, Mana asked Yu~ki to be their vocalist but NEVER Kozi. Poor Kozi x)

...Oh Gackt, this makes me miss Malice Mizer T^T

  • I think Kozi as vocals fate equals Tetsu's fate.

  • Eeh... maybe not so much.

Tetsu had (still has actually) talent, but was widely considered a "garage singer" so to speak. Tetsu sang VERY well, but his particular style was kinda awkward...

Kozi, on the other hand...he just isnt meant to be a full-time vocalist: his voice is too....I want to say plain, but that's not really it...

you know what I mean though, right?

  • Yes, I understand. My point was Mana was wise not to ask Kozi and Kozi was wise enough not to offer.

  • wait, maybe they thought about it but found it wasn't good idea, i think Közi prefered play guitar than do vocals, it's hard concentrate in both, most in a band like MALICE MIZER where live performances were so theatral, vocal need to focus on singing and interpretation and guitar need to focus in playing nice with a good timing.

  • Yea, that's true.

I play the guitar, the piano, and the flute (although flute doesnt matter here).

To sing while playing either the guitar or the piano is a BIG task. That's why I give Gackt so many good props for that...

Human beings cannot multi-task. Look at Miyavi, he sings AND plays the guitar--guitarwork is AWESOME, but his vocals are lame.

It's one or the other in a band, unless you're singing, stopping and playing the guitar, then singing again without the guitar.

    Both at same time= No

  • yeh, i play guitar and bass and it's hard playing while singing, i also love singing as well, but i wouldn't do both tasks at a time, i think i couldn't even enjoy one or another.

For Közi, i love him playing as much as i love him singing!

  • me encanta su estilo

es la escencia del malice mizer de antaño

  • Pure genius. :)
