  • take your cloths off :D~!

  • So there's a group helping atheist people deal with the pointlessness of their existance?

  • @Fuzigish8 #LOL

  • Ashley Paramour? Of course that's your name. Strange the Vital Spark foundation doesn't have a web page.

  • cute. also tl;dr.

  • she's hot... and secular... yummm

  • secular...there is no such rightiousness..

  • unfortunately people think a church wouldn't lie to them, or a religion. there are books out now that explain how religion causes brain damage. The world is learning and the usa is way behind learning god is bullkrap. god is a horrible mental disease families learn from religion. If you study mental illness you already know religion is a disaster for humans. The religious fail to study religion enough..the more you know the less religious you will be.

  • I'm waiting for the day a charity group is a group focussing on the help they are providing whether it be for humans or animals or whatever and not what they represent

  • wtf lol so much hate here, for starters religious people claiming she is doing this to make a buck is not smart even though i believe she is sincere about using the money for a genuine purpose you guys have been snatching money out of weak minded people for decades. i'm an atheist but im not all for this new atheism group thing thats going down atm but i believe its important if more people are to come out of the clouds and start thinking logically.

  • Wow, what a bunch of psychopathic, malcontent assholes....

acr08807, you're lucky you're not in my presence-I'd punch you in the face, you fucking pussy..

GOD BLESS AMERICA...OH, and the filthy whore in this video can suck my cock......idiots...

  • Whatever you say, toughguy. Maybe you'll come and girlpunch me into submission.

  • lol you guys are really at each others throats about what atheists call nothing good grief. if its nothing why do you care so much?

  • I care because the atheists are wrong. God is real and he is EVIL. Read the Bible and you'll see. God sold people into slavery, imposed the death penalty on rape victims, promoted genocide, turned a blind eye to torture of innocent civilians, and demanded the sacrifice of virgins.

GOD IS EVIL AND MUST BE STOPPED!

  • @acr08807, Maybe the god our universe was assigned is just getting the hang of the whole god thing. You have to admit, he hasn't caused much trouble since the great flood, and that was ages ago. You've got to expect power to corrupt any entity to some extent. I'd like to see the major religions get together to draw up a better contract that humanity can sign with god. With performance perks (more praising if average lifespan or happiness increases, etc.)

  • @ananiasacts God delivered the Jews into slavery six times in the Book of Judges alone. Jesus said that He spoke in parables so that people He didn't want to be saved wouldn't accidentally understand His words and be saved from Hell. And just read the Book of Revelation to see what God has in store for the world (hint, it starts with Jesus coming to Earth with a sword as a tongue and saying that He has come to deal death). You don't call that trouble?

God is evil and must be stopped.

  • @acr08807, Gosh, I'm only sorry I have but one soul to condemn to an eternity of torment in protest of god's tyranny. But isn't a common enemy the best way to unite humanity?

I think we should ferret out the exact list of memes that make up the various religions and try to design one that isn't as toxic but still compels those who need a Santa Claus to feel as if there really is one. I think that's what guys like Dan Dennett are up to. So there is cause for hope.

  • @ananiasacts Yes, a common enemy is the best way to unite humanity, and God IS our common enemy. And I know exactly how to defeat God, too--the Bible tells us that there is one power in the universe greater than God, and that is the iron chariot. We CAN and MUST stop God!

  • @acr08807, God, the being, can't be stopped because he doesn't exist. God the meme is most likely unstoppable as well because we don't have that kind of control over our minds. It's a bit like getting rid of crabgrass. A network of roots you can't see has interconnected the entire garden.

Only a more compelling rival theory that is somehow able to outcompete with the god meme is likely to genuinely replace it. Science can do that to some extent, but it's like mastering 1000 bibles to learn it.

  • @ananiasacts People could have stopped Hitler without major sacrifice in the 1930's, but too many of them just rationalized away his behavior, saying he doesn't pose a threat to peace.

I know you mean well, but you are in denial about the menace that God poses. I hope you, and others like you, will come to your senses before it is too late.

  • why do you discriminate against blacks!

There are no african american members in your orginization.

    Can hispanics join too?

All white groups like yours are fronts for NAZIS.

Have a little diversity, let a few christians join.

  • you look like one of those insisting people that knock at my door pretending to rape me into their belief. now how cliche it is to say "hi internet viewers" "we include all belief" "why you are paying attention?" "WE OFFER YOU MONEY" "but you will later not want to accept our money all will be voluntary" "we are gonna evangelize you"

    such a whore !!!!

  • again with theists fake assumptions. where have been many atheists who have donated to many charatis including 9/11

  • WRONG. Only 2 Atheist food banks in US and their public record shows they gave NOTHING.....Do your research good records are kept of charatis and Atheist Groups gave NOTHING to help people of 911.

  • You obviously don't know any atheists. I for one know many atheists that have helped/donated. I am one of which.

  • I'm an atheist and I donated. Go play in traffic.

  • @timm9 Lol, your fucking ignorant, If its an atheist organization, they probaly wouldnt state that in the title. Less people would donate seeing how this is a mostly religious country.... Try to think with your brain, and never speak in absolutes, more then likely youll be wrong.

  • You're beautiful.

  • so???

  • i liked you but sorry i don't support your ideals.

  • secular student groups? What's the point? Support groups?

  • Community and activism.

  • I find the nice thing about being an atheist is that you don't have to get up on Sunday morning! Atheism isn't a religion, we don't need weekly meetings to discuss an agenda or whatnot. When people form groups it's to discuss a common activity or hobby. The whole point of atheist is that there's nothing to it... Which is why there's no need to segregate ourselves from any other group - we can chose. As for activism, what type?

  • Whatever-so you athiests stand for nothing, believe in nothing and will fight for nothing, You only believe in yourselves..

VERY admirable. All of you idiots can get fucked...

  • Nice strawman their bud.

  • Straw Man argument, fallacy.

    Appeal to ridicule, fallacy.

    Try again.

  • I don't mean to disappoint you, but this might become illegal after the meeting the U.N is holding over racism in Geneva, except those leading it are the leaders of the countries no one wants to enter, but everyone wants to leave. Canada has already opted out, why don't you start a protest so the student's rights of speech can be protected? It's worth a shot.

  • You fanatics all have an agenda.

  • I read their article on one of their sites titled "Taking the New Enlightenment to the White House"

THE NEW ENLIGHTENMENT??? can we all say the birth of a cult

and proclaiming in that article "We now have the ear of the White House" the government is already filled with enough money hungry atheists, not like they need anymore of them, but I'm sure you'll fit in just fine there

didn't dressing up like a pirate passing out spaghetti noodles work for you before? why not just add a pole and dance

  • You know, I think most people have this mechanism in their head that tells them when they are making assholes of themselves. This mechanism keeps thought in check, and keeps certain thoughts from surfacing in our words. I think you lack the very mechanism I've described.

  • Did you not read the sign in the first picture at 0:25? Campus Atheists Skeptics & Humanists

    C.A.S.H.

Then she's here asking for money, is that a surprise?

If you make a joke of someone else's belief system, make sure your own is less of one.

She the asshole here, promoting the Spaghetti Monster in the name of Atheism? Mocking other peoples religion? how is that good?

Atheism a serious stand to take. I'm only giving back what she's giving.

Don't expect any less scrutiny than you give.

  • Do people have to deny the existence of a creator to join your group?

If you really want to help humans in general, no matter who they are, why not join any of the non-religious organization that already exist. They don't give a damn who or what you believe in, as long as you have a pair of willing hands and a strong back

You're an organization pushing anti-religion in the name of good deeds, why not just do the good deeds and let them speak for themselves.

  • I loved God until I read the Bible. God is a spiteful, vindictive, sociopathic animal who brought evil into the world and can't control His own emotions. Somebody needs to stop Him.

  • if you believe that the real god is the same one from the bible you are way off my friend.

  • We can pretty much rule out a kind and loving God, since a kind and loving God would hardly make the world the way it is. So we're left with a violent God or no God at all.

  • "For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. "

I dont believe christians believe that god is some perfect emotionless being...

  • Glad to see you agree with me. Punishing children for the crimes of their parents is exactly the kind of thing that has to be stopped. Consider how God treats the Samaritan infants in Hosea 13:6:

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

This is like Hitler, but a million times worse. GOD MUST BE STOPPED!

  • acr08807 needs medication.

  • God didn't make it that way, he made the world perfect. MAN made it that way, when we chose to disobey and flee from God. God is all loving BUT he's also JUST, He hates unrighteousness (SIN). Trust Jesus and Repent from your Sins while you still can.

  • I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7

How much clearer can it be? God unleashed evil upon the world, that makes Him evil. GOD MUST BE STOPPED!

  • lol, that verse made me crazy too!

God created everything including my receeding hairline...dammit!

  • You might want to read the entire chapter.

I find it amazingly ironic and almost spooky that you pick a verse from a chapter from The Book of Isaiah that speaks of questioning God and denying God's existence.

It quite clearly sums up God's perspective of man when compared to pottery.

  • It's not ironic, because I don't question God's existence. I know He's there. But He is murderous and evil, so He must be stopped.

God has launched genocidal wars, He has supported the annhialitaion of entire ethnic groups by torture, He treats women like pieces of property. He has sold people into slavery. He has killed babies. He can't control His anger. He is like Hitler, but more powerful, the great sociopath in the sky.

Whatever it takes, WE MUST STOP GOD!

  • Then he's not all-loving; that would make him selectively loving, as if that isn't already obvious from half of the world starving while the other half throws food away.

Sweet world view. What's it like to fear something that is all-loving?

  • Nope - we have religious members.

    Way to make assumptions.

  • I'd rather have a world where people look beyond themselves, no thanks, I'll pass

  • religious fanatics have plans.

    secular humanists have plans.

Theyre schemers, schemers trying to control their little worlds.

When are these schemers going to realize how pathetic their attempts to control things really are?

  • Great stuff! I would love to see you in every school in America!

    Science makes REAL miracles!

  • I'll be giving. And I'll mirror the video, too.

    :-)

  • Isn't are university's secular already?Don't they have enough support?

  • The economy in the US rivals that of the Depression. Reported unemployment is almost 10% (which means its really higher). People are choosing between medication and food, losing their homes at a record rate. Tax the churches. They get a free ride. It would add billions to the Treasury.

I hope to be able to give something when I can. It is very important to keep any secular movement growing in the US, esp. with all the religious propaganda around.

My best to you wonderful students!

  • praise the lord!

  • Marduk is greater then your "lord".

  • You don't understood he knows Jesus personally, I saw it! XD

  • Did Jesus cum unto him?

  • Ughh no!! only Yahweh and some priests do that kind of stuff.

  • Atheist and secular people are the only ones who can fight ANY religious agenda.

  • Atheist = selfish

Look at France now, muslim totally take over atheist~~~

  • So what, what YOU want?, may be you Like to be ruled by some religious dogma.

  • Atheist = Venus Project (The NWO)

    No Laws

No Money Need (Everything is Free)

    No Church Married

No Christmas Song for kid (All Rap and Hip Hop)

  • Yeah... No.

  • @fightforfair

Yeah... are you making an argument against atheism or for it because that sounds really cool on paper.

  • unless you live in the vatican city or the middle east... ya aren't.

  • Atheist =/= Selfish. Totally unrelated subject matters that only the ignorant theologians suggest have a relationship. Read "The Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins.

In France, they have an immigration problem, not a Muslim problem.

  • Hmm. To be fair... they don't seem to have much problems with japanese, chinese or any other non-muclims immigrants. To be fair, it's not budhists or scientologists who burn 3000 cars and destroy the neighbourhood in a nightly riot. I certainly don't want to put all french muslims in one basket (fyi: my aunt is one of those muslims) - but say it like it is. The integration of immigrants problem in france (in all of europe actually) IS a muslim problem.

  • disconcerting comments... is the economy really that poor in some areas? Most are back at work here and labour is short again in many trades. I feel fortunate enough to be able to give a bit more than I normally would because I agree that it is a good cause. I have sent $100, good luck with the match.

  • Thanks for the help dear! ^_^

  • I'll get behind whatever cause you want me to babe (critical thinking goes out the window if a chick is hot enough)

  • Ashley you are so very YUMMIE!

  • Look at Dawkins in their with the young ladies, I bet he gets laid all the time!

  • Great organization, have sent my $20 and am hoping you meet your full match.

  • Thanks for the help! ^_^

  • *Favorited*

Good luck on raising the money you need. I'm unable to donate, but I will add this as a favorite to go on my front page.

    PS - You're pretty cute :P

  • Hi Ashley,

If secularism is what your after then does this mean you'll be voting for Ron Paul in the next election?

  • I'll donate a dollar for your phone number.

  • paramore? wtf?

  • Yeah I know...

    -_-

  • It's okay though, because it's what's in your head that counts. I'm sure I wouldn't find you as attractive if I thought you were just as vacuous as every other girl.

  • Yep - it's a pretty nice campus. :)

  • I wish I can give :/ Making my way to the food bank tomorrow.

  • As a political force the religious people will begin to diminish... as long as brave truth-sayers are out there doing what you are doing.

  • In for $30. Thanks for being out there.

  • Thank you so much dear! :)

  • Why is there religious "commercial poping on the screen, and bible "software" commercial over the subscription box???did you tube do that??? awful sarcasm then...:(

    BTW I am an atheist,great job,healthyaddict

  • I chipped in $10. Hope you reach your goal.

  • Thank you! ^_^

  • Tree behind you looks awesome. Also you have cutest simples ever, and what did you do to your hair? LOL It just doesn't look like Ashley.

  • I know this is outside the point of the broadcast but wow that hairstyle really makes you look so great.! Youre the definition of sexy

  • Speaking of donations, I hear VenomfangX is still accepting donations to Sick Kids Hospital. Just make sure you send cash, or check made payable to him.

  • You're so cute so I dropped in a 10$

  • Glad to see more diversity at State. I'm getting sick of the oval preachers. Anyway good luck to you and your fundraising.

  • awesome haircut :O

  • The little bumb under your left eye is quite puzzling

  • I used my mom's account to send a little something. I hope it works out for you guys.

  • are you at BG or OU?

  • OSU

  • LoL - no - it'll all go directly to the organization. The fundraiser is hooked up directly to their account - not mine. So the money never touches my hands.

  • Thanks so much for your support! ^_^

  • > how can i know you did your "charity" to help anyone but yourself?

A classic example of a religious apologist who doesn't care one bit about honesty, charity, or goodness. This person's main desire is to do combat with those who don't share his beliefs. Otherwise why question someone's charitable act. The truth is, he doesn't care. He just wants to fight.

  • is your club national?

just wondering, as a few of the people at my university and I are trying to form a club like this, and if it is, it would probably be sweet to join the national alliance

  • Qusha10,

Check out the links in the description box. Lots of information there.

  • Yes - we're a national - even getting to be an international - organization.

Please check the links - there's a free group starting packet you can apply for. It'll help you out. :)

  • Well done Ashley - you're doing important things!

  • > i dont get it

A rare moment of honesty from a god-bot.

  • Do you realise how stupid your comment sounds, goodness is in the person, not in the belief.

I did a 177 mile charity walk, I did it to help diabetics, because I care, not because I was threatened with eternal damnation.

As for why we need to get the word out, to help those skeptics who have been threatened, by bible bashers, with hell and damnation. Now that word is getting out that they are not alone, more people are telling the world that they'e free of the fear and intimidation of religion.

  • how can i know you did your "charity" to help anyone but yourself? who were you trying to impress? also why couldnt those people just give without you having to walk 177 miles? that doesnt sound like selflessness to me. without god to guide you of course you live in fear, and have to band together in your little groups.

  • The walk did me good, it gave me a feeling of satisfaction, got me fit, and made me suffer a little, so yes I got something out of it, but I certainly didn't do it to win favour with a hypothetical divine master. Those people could well have given, but I did my bit to bring the charity to the attention of these people, and no god didn't guide me, I used a map.

Living in fear of going to hell and banding together is the preserve of theists, we don't need to meet each Sunday to talk to ourselves.

  • god this troll is worse than fakesagan!!!

  • "i dont get it, if there is no god, why help others?"

Because we have empathy for others. We feel the pain of others and wish to help them.

"also why be an atheist proselytizer if the evidence is on your side?"

Because religions (there are a FEW religions that don't harm though) are holding back society, we need people to realise this. Someone must speak out, or else it will remain hidden.

  • I help others - because I enjoy helping others.

I also don't see this (organization) as proselytizing to others. We provide community for people, who otherwise may not have it.

  • dipshit troll is a dipshit

  • busted

  • you are the dipshit troll, carbon

  • C'mon folks. For the price of a cup of coffee and a few mouse clicks you can do something to make the world a better place. This wonderful young lady has done her part, now it is up to you.

    Thank you for helping.

  • I threw a little in the pot. Glad to help out. :-)

  • Thanks dear! I appreciate the help!

  • Good on you Ashley. It fills me with joy to see young folks getting involved and doing things for the good of the community.

I will be happy to make a contribuition, but I really think of it as an investment in the future.

  • Thanks for the help hun! :) Every little bit helps!

  • shut up already!!!

  • I guess so since she doesn't believe in your god, and beleves that belief in your god is dangerous.

  • That's right!

Let your god do his work himself. I'd think that any real god would be able to.

  • I would've made it the Alliance of Secular Students just to be a member of a group called "ASS."

  • Always a treat in watching your vids , a great mind , a great person , and an inspiration to many, and your very informative! I will donate !!

  • Thanks so much for the help Tommy! <3

  • Nice new hair

  • MIrroring this :)

  • Just sent you $20.00 and mirroring this for you. Good luck kiddo!

  • Thanks for the help dear! :)

  • If you would just promote every atheist charity or non-profit group, I'm sure we'd surpass the religious ones. A beautiful woman with that kind of a smile is hard for anyone to resist. :-)

  • Okay, here's my five bucks. Way to go kid!

  • Thanks! :)

  • Thanks for doing this! Kind of a harsh world out there for rational folks these days. :-/

  • en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Secular_Student_Alliance

"Specifically, we seek to support students and student communities that seek:"

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Talk:Secular_Student_Alliance#Neutrality

"This article seems to me to be disturbingly biased in favor of the secular/humanist movement."

"_we_ sounds as if either the information was copied and pasted from the organisation's website verbatim, or the section was written by a member of the SSA."

  • Atheist women are beautiful!

  • hmm, not all

  • yay for me, I just donated 2 bucks. :) Good luck with your goal. wish I could donate more, but im unemployed :(

    ~Denny

  • Thanks so much for your support! ^_^

  • I like the idea . . and the hair.

  • I totally agree with having a secular students association.

Schools have groups for every religion under the sun, might as well have one for us atheists.

I would've been really happy if this sort of thing existed when I was a student, I never really felt comfortable joining a religious student organization.

Atheist, science, rational and critical thinking, these are all things I've happily chosen to align myself with.

But religion is something I was born into and I've always disliked it.

  • potato

  • I'm gonna need more info...could you please send yourself to Portland? ;)

  • Ha! I wish I could get out that way!

  • Right now, all that's talked about in Portland is the mayor's 'gay scandal'. An ounce of secularism is in order :)

  • Could you sendme more information, I might be able to donate

  • PM'd ya. :)

  • $10 to your cause, Ashley. If I wasn't unemployed at the moment I'd definitely have given more.

  • Thanks so much for your help! :)

  • I just donated $30.00.

  • Thanks so much for the support & <3!!!

  • How about douche school for your reflection?

  • I didn't get that.

  • madeye0 - good idea! check out camp quest.

  • Pushing any kind of ideology on kids is disgusting. And I can't understand how any "secularist" could think it's a good idea.

  • It's college students we're dealing with. And if there's a place to encounter new ideas, wouldn't that be the proper place?

These aren't "kids": they're young adults. It would help to read about what you're criticizing before you open your mouth, huh?

  • @Teleprompter4Life "It's college students we're dealing with."

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Secular_Student_Alliance

"whose purpose is to educate high school and college students"

  • High school students? They're still not "kids", really. And it's not "pushing" the idea on anyone. Besides, isn't high school also a time for exploring new ideas? These aren't toddlers - this isn't about indoctrination, it's about the free exchange of ideas. If you can't see that, I can't help you.

  • Kids have fun at camps. Learning about evolution and other sciences in a fun environment seems reasonable to me given that the sciences are our best attempt to understand how the universe actually works. The religions on the other hand have camps where they push randomly evolved ideas that demonstrably do not fit the universe. Which would be worse?
